So far LeBron is shooting 38.8% from the field. Allen Iverson hit 40.7% of his shots in the 2001 Finals. Kobe shot 40.5% in '08 when he lost to the Celtics in 6.
He bricked a shit load of freebies too, including a pair when his team was surging in the 3rd Quarter.

This explains Kobe's awful shooting % this year. LeBron right now is playing with an AWFUL supporting cast since his 2nd and 3rd options are out, and his efficiency has PLUMMETED as a result.
Kobe played with an even more awful supporting cast. No wonder he shot 35%. Prime Bron is hardly shooting better than that with better players around him.
Once the Lakers secure either Towns or Okafor and at least one somewhat solid free agent, KOBE'S GONNA BE BACK BOYS

Let's not forget how Kobe was also putting up big rebounding and assist numbers this season in stretches but people WERE CLOWNING a 36 yr old Kobe coming back from an achilles tear and a broken knee and shooting ~38%.
He had multiple triple doubles, high-scoring games, clutch games, 17-assist game, but you ain't see him get credit for anything.
Lebron in 4 Finals games vs GS: 35,8 ppg on 32,3 shots a game
Kobe in 2 games vs GS: 36 ppg on 31 shots a game
a broken down Kobe was more efficient at scoring against the Dubs, and he faced them earlier in the season with the Warriors at their hottest.
both had a 44 point game, Kobe was more efficient and needed way less minutes.

Except he doesn't have an 'awful' supporting cast: he still has a frontcourt that is beasting, giving him extra shot after extra shot, a rock-solid defense, and effective 3-point shooters. Plenty of guys have had absolutely dominant (and efficient) playoff series with supporting casts just as bad - worse in fact.
The truth is he just isn't as good as he used to be, and i'm amazed at how long it's taking the 'experts' to recognise his game is taking a nose-dive. He was a bit worse the previous year, especially defensively, and he's been sub-standard (for him) pretty much all season and the playoffs, where he was shooting sub-50TS% even when guys weren't injured, and he still had a loaded supporting cast.
Not to mention that many number 1 options, with actually terrible supporting casts (unlike Bron), put up big and efficient numbers in playoff series, against great defenses. His team mates don't come close to explaining his inefficient chucking. Cavs would have this wrapped up already with 2012 Bron (Warriors have been weak) - so his supporting cast is doing more than necessary. Somebody else isn't delivering - i wonder who?

The Cav's are shooting 28% from the 3 (outside LeBron, who's shooting 31%). LeBron is also the 2nd best rebounder on the team.
Can't win with teammates (and LeBron as well) bricking shot after shot. This team is probably the WOAT to win 2 games in the Finals.

They were an overtime away from being up 3-0 - GS have played terrible, sure, but of course you can win - Bron already had the opportunity to do just that (even with his teamates shooting poorly), and missed it. Also, try using a reasonable sample-size, as in, look at their numbers throughout the playoffs, not the few games of the finals, and you'll see that Lebron has had plenty of consistent 3-point shooting from his team.
Tristan Thompson and Mozgov are both more important for that team's rebounding than Lebron, so he's 3rd in that respect. That frontcourt is incredibly underrated, as all players who play with Lebron usually come to be.

The Cavs were also like a couple of plays away from being up 3-0. The Cavs aren't winning the series though. The whole team, including LeBron can't shoot for shit and are playing garbage ass offense (outside LeBron, who's basically trying to control the tempo). LeBron's teammates are playing hard, but it's not going to get them W's. They aren't good enough to beat GSW. I'm not saying they aren't good 3pt shooters, but consistency is something they don't have. JR and Shump might go off for 20 points on 60% from the 3 one game, but they're gonna suck ass the next two. They really need to hit their shots, if they want to win another game this series.
How is a Mozgov rebound more impactful than a LeBron rebound? LeBron's averaging 4 rebounds more than Mozgov.

I was just saying that with 2012 Bron they would likely have been 3-0 up and on the way to a chip; that somewhat negates your assertion that you 'can't win' with your team mates shooting whatever percent from 3. They clearly were good enough considering they would've won already if Bron hadn't made a bunch of mistakes down the stretch of game one, and shot terribly all series (playoffs really).
@ the second: because Mosgov is a huge body that keeps opposing centres off the boards - i didn't say his rebounds were more valuable, i would just surmise that he is more important for the sake of Cleveland's overall rebounding (some guys don't get many rebounds, but massively help a team's rebounding - that's what Mosgov does). Lebron has always been the opposite, and has tended to stat-pad rebounds (remember Bosh and Wade clowning him over this).

LeBron and Irving were the only two who kept them in the game. JR and Shump sucked ass. Sure, LeBron made a few mistakes, but if his "consistent" teammates were actually consistent, they wouldn't have even needed the OT. '12 Bron on this team? Doubt it. He struggled with his shot those PO's as well. He had like 3 or 4 good games (shooting wise) the entire playoffs. He shot like shit against the Thunder as well. His passing and post game is what won the series (and Wade as well).

He's putting in a ton of energy and is trying to secure every possession he can. If that's stat-padding or something of the like, so be it. I wish he did more on the boards when he was with the Heat. That just drains too much from you, when you're the best scorer, passer, and defender though.
Wade and Allen were making fun of his, because LeBron was trying to get e triple double.
