I think a lot of us understand this perfectly well. But I will not "award" someone with a FMVP for being a decoy, or because the other team is focusing defensive attention on them.
Iguodala still has to make the shots. Iguodala still has to defend at a high level. Iguodala still has to make the passes that he does.

He has been the best GSW player in this series so far. Curry is doing what he is supposed to, passing to the open man, drawing attention, etc, but I won't give him the FMVP for that. That would be like giving the MVP to an offensive lineman in football. I respect and appreciate what Curry is doing, but it's not FMVP worthy.

It's like you ppl don't understand the effect of Curry on the floor giving Iggy pre game shoot around jumpers. MVP= Most Valuable...Without Curry, someone actually guards Iggy and he goes back to 8ppg type offense.
