How anyone can criticize him given his:

stats,
effort,
ability to lead,

is ridiculous.

If he takes this series to 7 games he overtakes Jordan.

Stats are inflated due to the minutes played and high usage.

Effort? Are you serious? It's the freaking finals, everyone are giving what they got.

I won't knock on ability to lead but neither one of us can measure that.

And no, even if the Cavs blow out the Warriors for the next 2, Lebron is no where near Jordan (I thought we had passed it already).

PS: Dellavedova > Lin

Who cares, he's gonna lose the series, nothing else matters.

Shouldn't have played 40+ minutes every game of that Boston sweep then, should he (man played 46 minutes game 4). He evidently wants to be out there that long, even when he's not needed.

Game 4 was a 2 possession game to start the 4th quarter, LeBron sat 2 minutes, bam, game over.....

the MPG/minutes played, energy wasted, sole offensive scorer, 2nd highest rebounder, top playmaker, etc. on a team that lost 2 of their 3 stars, he's the vocal point, defenses can tune on him, no pressure is being taken off you... other stars demand space, attention, make defenses worry, he doesn't have that right now.

The 3-point shooting has been utter crap by his teammates this series, his team is actually getting out-rebounded, even offensively, I guess the one thing you could credit them with would be 'hustle'... defense been solid. There have been plenty of teammates who have been shit so far, this series.

Obviously, expecting him to win this is a wee bit too much, but its funny that they could be leading 3-1 right now, and had he closed game 1, that would have actually been his best game.

He's wearing and tiring down.

No criticizing from me, matter of fact it's the other way around.

With that said, it's the ****in Finals, just doing what he's "supposed" to do...

Shaq played 45.5 MPG in the 2000 Finals, putting up 38/17/2/1/3 on 61% FG.
45 the following year and 41.5 the next, always champ and FMVP, playing like a beast.

Bird played 43.6 MPG during the course of 7games for the '84 Finals, nobody else on that team was even playing over 37, and before y'all mention names, just remember that McHale was not close to his best, and the majority of them were playing well below their level throughout the whole post-season. Facing the Lakers with Kareem, Magic, Worthy, McAdoo, Cooper, Rambis, Wilkes, Scott...
Larry led the Finals in points, rebounds and steals, shot the highest FG% on his team, 48.4% for him to 43.2% for the rest collectively.
During the whole Playoffs, he also played 41.8 MPG (same as James) with 23 games played (more than James)... Had most teammates healthy but they were also playing like shit, while facing greater competition. Led the team in points, rebounds, assists, steals, FG% and FT%... Talk about carrying.
Not many will bring up that run amongst the very best though, shameful, ****in underrated/overlooked... People rather bring up names and such...

Wilt played 47.8 MPG in 6 games for the '67 Finals, led the series in rebounds, assists and FG%, scored 18 per game.

34 yeards old Jordan still played 42 MPG in his last Finals, still great performance, still very clutch, still won.

...

Anyways, not comparing what LeBron is doing to any of those in a sense of saying who done it better... Js...

Let's stop with this 'Lebron is having the greatest playoff run ever' nonsense. First of all, 38% is horrible. Have you lost your mind? Horrible. And this 'tired' nonsense... 0 points in the 4th quarter when your teammates are starting to wear down? This is the NBA Finals. Stop watching his numbers and watch his game. He's been atrocious in the 4th quarters. And he stands around far beyond the three point line resting on offense more than you think. MJ actually had to run an offense that was meant to keep everyone active and moving. Every possession.

Going into Game 4 of the Finals

1993 MJ = 140 total minutes (includes 57 min triple OT Game 3)
2015 Lebron = 141 total minutes

** Heading into the Finals, MJ had 5 days rest to recover from a sore wrist after playing the bruising Knicks. Lebron had 9 days rest after playing the Hawks **

Game 5 Production

1993 MJ = 46 mins, 55 points on 57% (half of teams total points)
2015 Lebron = 41 mins, 20 points on 32%

And just when you think he should have been "tired", MJ played 44 out of 48 mins the next game and scored 41 on 55%.

If Lebron could walk, he could have posted up or drove to the basket to at least get some free throws. His will to win is just not up there with MJ's. 0 points in the 4th in a critical Game 4 is ridiculous especially considering they were only down 6 points to start the 4th. He's no more tired than many others that have laid it all on the line in the Finals.

Forget about minutes for a second.

Bron hasn't faced tough defense. One on one with wide open spaces, no facing multiple traps, double teams and triple teams. He doesn't have to run around trying to get a shot. He doesn't have to fight hard to get position. He doesn't have to fight through multiple physical screens on defense. He's basically standing there, f*ckin shit... LITERALLY!

Holy shit the Lexcuses are flowing from you guys.:hammerhead: :hammerhead:

1984 included that Heat Wave game in the old, un-air-conditioned Boston Garden. 94 degrees inside the building. Humid too. Bird played the most minutes of anyone that night had one of his best games ever 15-20 from the field, 2-2 from 3 and 17 rebounds.

In the clips, you can see Kareem using an oxygen tank and Robert Parish pour cold water over his neck.

His stamina often not acknowledged when people talk about his athleticism.

Was Shaq the primary ball handler?
Was Shaq's next best two players undrafted?
Could the Lakers score without him in the game? :facepalm

Yeah, huge differences here.

Heard as high as 97F... I think it was 97 outside at game time. In that clip later on in the game (after sundown) they said it was 81 outside and 94F inside due to all the hot humans packed together.
