View Full Version : Why didn't the refs follow protocol after LeBron's head injury?

He was allowed to play despite still bleeding and having blood on his hand. For anybody else, they would need to be removed from the game until the bleeding stops. Additionally, it could be argued that he should have underwent a concussion examination.

I can't believe they didn't even have him wipe off his hands. Gross
Ratings. Although that shit looked dangerous.

Seriously. The double standard couldn't be any more obvious.

exceptions are made for all time greats
his LEGACY is on the line. taking him out for a little blood would tarnish history.
lebron is a warrior. hed probably beat the living **** out of the refs if they tried to make lebron sit.
its the finals for ****s sake. exceptions are made, rules are broken, dreams are shattered (warriors fans across the globe) and ultimately, we, the fans, are fulfilled.

No other reason. He can't get uglier so it doesn't matter. Without him in the game, plenty of people start watching.

He's earned my respect after that Game 7 Boston.
But he's a SUPERstar so they're going to keep him in. An already broken down Cavs vs Warriors, now without Lebron? imagine that lol

Yeah we were wondering that too. Any other time a player is cut they have to go off for those temporary stitches or glue but when it's lebron they just let him play? If i were kerr i would have told the refs my team isn't taking the court unless he is fixed up or taken out for health reasons.
Lebron played with bosh, a known homosexual, and wade, a man so obsessed with **** that his clothes logo is the asshole image from community, if he shared steroids and needles he could have aids.

Then he shouldn't have been playing because it's illegal to bleed and play.

It's the fricken Finals....a little bleeding isn't going to make the NBA sit the best player in the world
and there's a rule that if you can't go and shoot your free throws, you are not allowed to play the rest of the game...
learn your shit

Normally they shoot the free throws then get taken out to get patched up. Lebron kept playing while bleeding. It's against their protocols learn your own shit dickhead

It's the fukking Finals. who the hell cares. It's not like it's an advantage for him to play with a cut in his head, if anything it actually helped the Warriors, you can blame the Cavs for not pulling him out but big picture, it doesn't matter you dumb shit
as far as getting taken out to get patched up, he did get treatment later on in the game

It was early in the game, not like it was the final 2 minutes. He obviously could have used the rest anyway given that he couldn't finish out the game.

Maybe because the NBA is always trying to manipulate the outcome of games?

If it turns out that Lebron has AIDS or some shit like that the league may be in some trouble. Otherwise, it's all good.

The nba should be consistent. This isn't the wwe it's supposed to be a real sport if it's different rules for different people the league is a joke

I wonder if he collected his hair from when the camera scalped him, so he could glue it onto the top of his forehead
