Cavs defense is way better then 18th. Love is not in the starting lineup and they played a quarter of the season with shumpert,Moscov. Two great defenders.

Reggie Miller never had to deal with the doubles Curry does.

that's incredible, considering that Miller shot 1/16 (6%) in Game 1 of that series.

Overall, Miller's team was 1-3 thru first 4 games (with Kobe out Games 2 & 3) while Curry's team has the series tied with 2 out of 3 games at home for the rest of the series.

and lol @ saying Reggie only had Mark Jackson, when Jalen Rose averaged 23/5/3 on 47/50/83 shooting, Croshere averaged 15/6 on 55% shooting

Mark Jackson statistically was the 6th most productive player for Indy in that series.

Curry also isn't being guarded by prime Kobe, and other good defenders like Rick Fox.

lol at this bullshit, Cavs were the best defensive team in the Playoffs entering the Finals and Lebron's teammates shot better from 3 than Golden State

Cavs without Love have a top 3 defense at worst.

This is true. All the Pacers played pretty well that series. Just could not overcome Shaq. Shaq was the difference, he was the only one who was unstoppbable. We held the rest of the Lakers in check including Kobe who didn't shoot well at all....

so now 21 yr old Kobe, who got injured in Game 2 of that series and practically missed 2 games and played injured the rest of the way is considered prime...

Kobe didn't shoot well overall, but he closed out Game 4 on the road in OT with Shaq fouled out, he also closed out Game 6.

Are you kidding me?

Reggie never got doubled unless he drove into the defense. He never got the hard doubles outside the 3 point line that Curry does. The Cavs wanted the ball out of Curry's hands as much as possible all series long.

Are you just spewing random shit out?

According to Kobe stans, he's the best player of that decade...I'm just using their logic...They say he was the best player in the league from 2000 to 2010..:lol

best player in terms of accomplishments and peak play, but I haven't seen anyone claim that he was the best in 2000...

obviously he was the player of the decade with 7 Finals runs and 5 titles.

You realize Jalen Rose was on that team, right? It's also important to remember that Bryant and the Lakers held Reggie Miller to 7 points on 1/16 shooting in game 1. After Bryant got injured in game 2 and missed most of game 2 and all of game 3, Reggie had a much easier time scoring.

Kobe got hurt but he showed NO effects of it after game 3 if I remember. Kobe looked fine, had a nasty dunk on Rik Smits in game 5......
