I've been using BeatMaker 2 for my bus rides to work, and I've made some nice basic beats. Tried using inter app audio but it's cumbersome. These new options will make it easier to make beats on the go.

But what if you're on the move?
Yeah I can make beats at home, but what if I want to make beats on the bus? or when Im waiting for something? Hell, I've made a quick beat during my lunch break.
As mentioned I use BeatMaker 2 and just discovered how to chop up and send my chops as a batch to different pads. This'll change the way I make beats on the iPhone. Simply import a sample, chop it up and flip it.
But I can't wait for ios 9 to see how developers will implement it.
oh the horror

True. Because whites sure as hell aren't very creative.

I am interested how iOS 9 will eliminate the home screen but that's about it.

What?
OS X already has this, aka plugins such as VSTs and Audio Units. This was missing in iOS9.
But not it's coming!!!!
You can now add effects and instruments from different apps with 'ease'.

I made this beat in 10 minutes while riding to work on BeatMaker 2:
https://soundcloud.com/agua-1/lady
It's very basic, but it takes multiple steps that are annoying to really beef it up or to do anything more complex. iOS 9 will make it easier to produce and make it more convenient to really beef things up.
I can guarantee that entire pro albums will be created on iOS 9 (mastered and mixed on regular computers. of course).
I'll upload a few more beats I've made if anyone is interested.

iOS 9 is the iPhone's new upcoming OS, I think, whatever the term is for that.
OS X is Mac's OS (Windows 8, 10 for Windows Desktop).
Goooooogle.

Im assuming that Kizzle uses nothing but hardware.
In the computer world (software) OS X is a Mac's operating system. Since it's a full fledged computing software (OS) one can run plugins inside a DAW (Digital Audio Workplace i.e. Live, Cubase, Fruity Loops, Logic, Garage Band).
What are plugins?
Plugins are 3rd party software extensions that give the user more options in mixing, creating, mastering a recording. You can have more synths, more reverb machines, more effects, more drum modules, etc.etc. that aren't included with the DAW. Sure the DAWs usually offer some good stock options, but there are hundreds of great options available that can make one's recording better. You can make a song on Ableton Live but you won't have realistic Moog, so you get a VST (a plugin) that'll recreate a Moog. Sure you can use the stock reverb module, but why settle for that when you can get an Abbey Road reverb module. The options available are endless.
But on the iPhone and iPad's OS (iOS) one isn't so much limited, because 'Audios' and 'Inter App Audio' are available. But this is a cumbersome process because it isn't as straight forward as using a VST on a regular desktop software. You have to launch this app/or option, then open the app, then click record, then go back to the other app and play, it's simply annoying.
But not on iOS 9.
with iOS 9, you'll be able to use 3rd party apps like you would on a desktop, eliminating at least 2 steps, and making the process that much more seamless which won't destroy your creative flow.

Uh.... nobody else has this, or anything close to it.
Actually, audio apps is one area in which iOS obliterates all other mobile operating systems.
Android can't get many developers because there's latency in Android.
Microsoft, well... nobody uses Windows phones, so developers don't waste their time.

Not that awesome, but here are a few more beats that I've made in 10 minutes on my phone.
https://soundcloud.com/agua-1/rhodes
https://soundcloud.com/agua-1/piano2
https://soundcloud.com/agua-1/lady
https://soundcloud.com/agua-1/ether
And these are basic beats created within one app, new iOS will bring a more seamless workflow allowing users to make more complex beats.
Naturally, there is much more that can be done with the new inter app audio than just making beats. This is simply from a producer's (me) POV.

andgar right though
android has had an audio latency issue for a very long time
http://superpowered.com/androidaudiopathlatency/#axzz3czy2ndq4
It was an issue when I was looking at Android based tablets or phones since I knew I wanted to do some mobile production on my long bus rides. I knew about the latency issue but figured it would be solved soon and developers would jump on board, but that wasn't the case.
Having said that, there has been improvement, but there simply is no comparison when it comes to the quantity and quality of audio apps.
