Great?:biggums: :biggums:

Yes...great. He's back2back first team selection and quite clearly the best SG in the game and a top 5 player without question the last year. He's a great player and if you follow your own critera, he cannot be a "bootleg". Fvck makes Westbrook a great player but not Harden?

or Manu for that matter

Josh Smith a bootleg version of LeBron? Lol there games have absolutely nothing in common, they couldn't be any more different.

Rose a bootleg version of Westbrook? Even though Rose has won an MVP and came into the league before Westbrook? And Rose isn't a great player?

Harden a bootleg version of Manu? Even though Harden is already a better player than Manu ever was? But Harden isn't a great player?

What in the actual fuhck? I hope your trolling for lulz

Top 15? Harden's overall season made him a top 5 player this season imo.

(No order)
Curry
LeBron
Westbrook
Davis
Harden

Call me a homer all you want but thats just the way it is. No way in hell do you call an MVP runner-up a top 15 player or just a "good" player. If anything, Harden was great this season.

CP3 makes no sense hes a great shooter, has the best midrange shot in the league. Rondos one of the worst shooters of alltime

Josh Smith is a bootleg version of Bran
Agree. On offense at least.

JR Smith is a bootleg version of Kobe
Agree kind of - all the fadeaways and shots off the dribble.

An enormous difference between these first two is the lack of dribbling ability in the bootlegs. Makes their games a lot more different than they otherwise would be.

Bargnani is a bootleg version of Dirk
Agree.

Rose is a bootleg version of Westbrook
Rose before the injuries is = Westbrook. Rose even after the injuries may be too good to qualify for this list. His intangibles are no joke.

Rubio is a bootleg version of Kidd
Disagree - Rubio is more like a bootleg version of Manu. What set Kidd apart was how strong he was, how fast and accurately he could whip the ball around. The only NBA player who's anything like Kidd is Lebron James, and being 5 inches taller and more athletic makes him such a different overall impact that you can't really compare them.

Iggy is a bootleg version of Pippen
Kind of - Batum strikes a closer resemblance IMO. Kirilenko most of all, but I don't know if he's in the L any more, and in his prime he might be too good to put on this list.

Harden is a bootleg version of Manu
Not at all. Is this an anti-Harden post? Manu has the intangibles and is most people's favorite of the two, but Manu is obviously not on a higher level than Harden. If anything Harden has the edge as an overall talent.

Some others:

Brandon Bass is a bootleg Elton Brand
Diaw is a bootleg Magic (obvious, and probably the best example of all these)
Is Dragic a bootleg Nash? A bootleg Nash/Manu hybrid?

I think Dragic is a bootleg Curry. Though the gap between them isn't as enormous as some of the other comparisons in this thread.

Except Kobe doesn't even really play like Jordan at all.

Jordan was a "quick-strike" type of player. Kobe is much more crafty, and is more of a shooter. He plays a lot more like prime T-Mac than he does Jordan.

Kobe plays like a 2nd 3peat Jordan. Their games are carbon copies outside the range. Their post games are creepy in their similarity. They're aesthetically very similar.

T-Mac's game, regardless of being a long range shooter and shooter overall looked nothing like Kobe on an aesthetic level. T-Mac's length and finishes just made their games way too distant.
