I'm starting to believe many who post here aren't truly Basketball fans.

Go watch some games & stop living in the past.

Uhhh, what is that supposed to mean? lol

AD was great in his playoff debut, but I would go with Mike just because he got his stats versus one of the greatest perimeter defenders in history, Sidney Moncrief. There's a video on the H2H somewhere on YT - the highlights are absolutely incredible.

I don't get what you're trying to imply here... Just a really random and stupid thread to post.

While we're in full retard mode lets compare Kobe Bryant's first playoff run vs. Ben Gordon's first playoff run.

Quite obvious. Comparing two of the greats in their first Playoff runs. **** does Ben Gordon and Kobe have to do with this? Neither one of them were stars in their first Playoff run. Nobody game planned for those ****** and structured their entire defensive strategies based on stopping them.

Please don't come into my threads comparing role players to GOATs. Thanks.

Sure,Davis has never won a playoff game but he's one of the GOAT's.

Anything else,einstein?

By the numbers, AD had a better run first year playoff run than Jordan, despite MJ also putting up incredible stats. Of course, MJ still won one game, and hit the game winner, whereas AD got swept. But AD had a truly dominant first four playoff games. Still AD has a tall order for ever catching MJ as the GOAT playoff performer.

Let wait until after AD's second year, and see if his number's still compare with MJ's playoff numbers. I'll be awaiting Davis' 63/18/7 game against against a highly ranked Western conference opponent...

AD played against a perimeter team of course he is going to get good stats but being swept is the only stat that matters. If he got 15/9/3 against Memphis and won a game those stats would be far better then getting swept by a perimeter jump shooting team

Plus MJ faced much better defender. Its funny how some fans pick better player purely based on stat-line without context.

Anthony Davis faced the best offensive and defensive team in the league and still shitted on them. :oldlol: Put up those numbers on literally the best defense the league has to offer.

Again picking without any context. What All-time great defensive bigs Wars have? Bogut was very lackluster and he is the best they got. Speights, Ezeli? Please.

Prime Moncrief as a defender vs MJ >>>>>>>>> any Wars bigs vs AD.
