27 ppg 35.5% 5 TO per game :wtf:

By far his worse series EVER and he's had a few stinkers

this is with an even WORSE supporting cast than he has now, yet and still they somehow managed to push the ALL TIME GREAT 2008 Celtics to 7 games.

Game 1 Lebron goes for

2-18, 12 points, 10 TURNOVERS and the Cavs lose the game by FOUR!
FOUR :oldlol:

and this is with BRAWN missing a gametying GIMME layup to send it to OT

If Lebron make 2-3 more FG's in Game 1, Cle wins GM 1 and likely the series, yet and still it's consensus opinion that the 08 Celts are an all-time great team who would mop the floor with GSW :biggums:

Cleveland even won an elimination Game 6 with BRAWN going 9-23, 8 TURNOVERS and only 6 asts

I mean is yall dudes SERIOUS!!???
Boston avg 84 ppg in that series, they have NO CHANCE of beating GSW with such putrid offense...NONE

Unless yall trying to tell me that the 08 Cavs were an alltime great defensive team and GS is nowhere in their realm defensively I just cannot imagine a scenarion where the 08 Celtics beat the 15 Warriors.

Then when you add in being pushed to 7 by the 38 win Joe JOhnson lead Hawks

Your boy Kobe Bryant also didn't have a good series against the 2008 Boston Celtics. The Celtics get their act together in the conference finals, and NBA Finals.

The Cavaliers 2nd best player in that series is 11.9 ppg Ilgaukas. I don't remember Mo Williams playing for the Cavaliers during that time. The Bucks traded him to the Cavs during the off season.

Stay on topic.

This thread is about LeCollusion, not Kobe.

That game 7 though was beastly and very entertaining.

This was the season before the true start of his prime. Not a very talented supporting cast either to distract that great Celtics defense.

No Gasol, no Wade, no Kyrie, hell not even a Lamar Odom or Mo Williams type. His best offensive weapon next to him was Big Z?

In context he gets a pass.

The thread's really about the 08 Celts vs 15 Warriors and the widely held opinion (MYSTIFYING) that Boston is/was an ATG team but GSW isnt because they had a couple mediocre games in the Finals and that Boston would mop the floor with them.

A Cleveland team with Wally Scerbiak as their 2nd best player and their best player playing like a park scrub came INCHES from beating them. Yet it's thought ridiculous that the 15 Warriors would roll these dudes :confusedshrug:

what am i missing here?

We remember championship teams as ATG teams through pictures, video, and nostalgia.

Yeah, I mean I already knew thats what it was but man...this was 7 years ago, in just 7 years that team has been raised to invincible status? I remember that team like yesterday. GSW could easily beat them, likewise they could beat goldenstate, though my money would be on gsw
