Nba players need to practice their craft a bit more IMO

This is inexcusable

How did he become such a shit ft shooter? I don't remember him being this bad in Philly...

Modest 73% in his 615 Sixers games on over 3000 attempts. 59% in Denver and Golden State. Last year in Philly he shoots 61%...
So first 7 years in the league he shots .745. Last 4 he shoots .604. :wtf:

I posed this question after watching Bruce Bowen play. He shot better from the three than he did from the FT line in some of his seasons. This makes him both a commodity and a liability down the stretch. It's the ultimate paradox.

Seems like Iggy channeled his best Bowen impression tonight. Amazing that Blatt was able to exploit it. Smart ass coach who does his homework on every player.

Alonzo Mourning had the same problem. Started off his career shooting well at the line, then regressed. Just seems to happen with some players.

I think the point is why he can shoot threes and jumpers NOW but misses FT this badly

It'd be HILARIOUS if Cavs start to foul Iggy on the 3 because it's more efficient to have him shoot 3 FT's at the line than have him make 40% or so at the 3

I don't really like the modern style of NBA though :confusedshrug:

I have this same prob actually.

Obviously I dont do either at an NBA level but for whatever reason my free throw shooting is basically no better than my three point shooting. And Im a pretty mediocre three point shooter even for an amateur.

It's bizarre. He was a solid free throw shooter his entire career until he suddenly became shit about 4-5 years ago.
