I think we are all old enough to know the Cavs will win Game 6 at home and force a game 7. That's what the network and NBA wants and I don't remember the last time a game 7 aired on a Friday Night.
Anyone know when the last time that happened?

There is no way that cavs win the next game. Just 1 day rest.

Friday night isn't a good television night. They would get better ratings if the game was on pretty much any other day.

Why not? Everybody would watch it outside or at a sports bar or at a friend's house

Friday is the worst tv night.
But it would be Game 7 of the NBA Finals... What fan of sports would rather go out or go the movies instead of watch that? As far non-sports fan. Well the Finals isn't like the Super Bowl where you have a bunch of people who haven't watched a game all year suddenly tune in for god knows what reason. I don't think ratings would take much of a hit.

I think lots of people would turn it into a outdoor event since it's a friday night

I'm really concerned NBA will rig this game 6 and make sure game 7 occurs.

Why wouldn't they? Might as well have it end in 7 games to give the fans a treat
