View Full Version : Out of the Cavs 91 points...

......Lebron scored or assisted on 70 points.

Out of all those other 21 points his teammates got, 8-10 of those points were Lebron passes/"assists" under the basket where a teammate would have a wideopen dunk/layin (which would give Lebron the assist) but gets fouled because of that & hits the FTs, points which he was accountable for aswell....

The rest of the 13 points were hockey assists and/or occasional point somebody scored when he was in the bench....

So you could argue Lebron had a hand in 78+ of those 91 points scored.....

He answered everything in the 4th but GSW were just to much on his teammates to try compensate...... He hits a shot, Curry hits a 3, he hits a shot, Klay hits a 3, he hits a shot, Iggy scores, he hits a shot, Barnes dunks, he hits a shot, Curry hits a 3, he hits a shot, Green hits a 3, he hits a shot, Livingston hits a shot, he hits a shot, Klay hits a 3, he makes an assist, Iguodala hits a wideopen 3, he hits a shot..... and so on....

One man army at its very finest.... and "Best team > Best player" at its very finest....

What is your point? You think somebody else could do this aswell? You think he if didnt dominate the ball they would have won the game or something? Sup?

This is to no avail though from your side as Lebron is better than Kobe ever was and is ranked higher all-time on anybodies list who isnt a Kobetard... you need to get over it....

Considering warriors are a more well-rounded team than the cavs when healthy, who are now missing irving and love, it hasn't worked that well.

Playmaking
Holds the ball for 3\4 of the shot clock then passes to JR, Jr takes a dribble and drain a contested 3 pointer. Lebron collects the assist. Amazing how Jr got cold on the second half and Lebron assists plummeted, so weird :confusedshrug:

Lebron played well but his team is getting exposed. The East was terrible, this Cavs team is good enough to get through the East but against the West's best? They don't belong. Once Kerr made his adjustments, it was checkmate. Deal with it. But don't worry, no one is dropping Lebron any notches on the GOAT list, which is all that matters for a stan like yourself.

Kerr knows that Lebrick only cares about his own stats.

he's kind of a player that rather great statline with a loss, than his team win with another player beasting.

It truly is an amazing feat and in saying that it does not take away anything from the Warriors as a team. What this series has shown is that

1. Lebron is still the best in the world
2. Curry needs to evolve his game... Dellavedova has shown the blueprint to slow Curry down and if the Cavs had a full squad and Delly could get enough rest, Curry would be in trouble. Curry believe it or not is not fast, he is quick. Delly plays him will because he is of the same mold. Not lightning fast, but quick. Physicality and quickness is how you beat Curry
3. GSW are hands down the best team and deepest team in the league. It's not often you see a team in the finals play such a deep rotation. It's truly a testament to the depth of this team and the confidence and trust the coaching staff has in the bench players

Once they get a chance to finally do something, they have no clue because they spent 20 seconds of every possession waiting for lebron to pass. He is not making them any better by ball hogging.

No they won't. Do you think anyone goes back and looks at for example what contribution Karl Malone and John Stockton made each game of the 98 finals in terms of overall points.

"Well you see, of the points scored in game 2 of the 98 finals, 74.78% of the points were off of assists or buckets by John and Karl even though they lost to Jordan...."

No one cares. Same for any finals loser. All people say about that series was Jordan's last shot as a Bull and how he further cemented his legacy.

2/6 is what will be remembered.

The difference is that Malone/Stockton never won a ring, and never put up 40 point triple doubles in the finals. There's a giant difference

It was just an example. Do you think anyone looks at Kobe's impact in the 2 finals that he lost in terms of how many points were off his shots or assists? No, they look at 5/7.

And by next year no one will care about lebrons production during the loss. It will be like "ya, dude basically had 2 starters injured and lost the finals. Still a loss though, chalk it up as 2/6... injuries happen and obviously if the team was good enough to win 2 games in the series, then clearly a ring win was possible so no ring = 2/6 loss.

Look. Bran fans are a special bunch. They convinced themselves that D wade/Bosh/Ray Allen are scrubs after the epic beatdown last year. They'll have NO TROUBLE with the mental gymnastics that it takes to apply the same principles this year. It's easy for them to label Shump/JR/Mosgov as scrubs. They would've done the same thing with Love/Irving too.

On to the next year....
