hes shot 5 air balls this series... a few absolutely wide open

hes shot and bricked fading long bombs all series even after his layups are working

he missed a game winner with a crap attempt

hes played into the warriors game plan all series

hes shooting a crap percentage

i can understand people saying "his rebounding was the difference" IF THEY WON

but it obviously doesnt matter

his numbers are great. but if this was kobe and he was bricking all day shooting 37% and losing. nobody would give 2 ****s if he had good stats.. all people would talk about is that hes hogging or taking his teammates out of rhythm. being selfish etc...

kobe was leading the league in scoring shooting 38% this season. nobody cared.. know why? cause they lost

double standard bran on his way to another bogus get out of jail free card

Single coverage all day long.

He's playing right into Kerr's hands. He's putting up stats because GS is letting him and shutting everyone else down so no one else gets hot. And it's working.

Empty stats.

JR Smith was hitting shots. The Cavs hit as many 3's as GSW. They even had less turnovers.

What should he do exactly to win the game outside of a 40 point triple double?

didnt kobe shoot 25% in an elimination game 7 AND win?

maybe lebron isnt shooting bad enough... maybe there is something to the infamous "kobe assist" (brick, offensive board, POINTS)

basically, tristan thompson needs to step up. hes simply not converting the kobe assist in the frequency that it takes to win a championship.

and lebron needs to shoot worse, and alienate his teammates, and rape a girl, and airball 4 shots in a row, and run shaq/pau/dwight out of town.

obviously averaging a triple double isnt the right way about going at this thing. :confusedshrug:

The word you and LeBron are looking for, is efficiency.

When you're the best player in the world facing single coverage, I expect better than 37% in a series. What we're dealing with however, is a mental midget who, like his fans, believes stats are what make a legacy.

When you're a physical specimen who's 3-4 inches taller and 30 pounds heavier than everyone at his position, I would expect you to score 35+ a game. Combine that with the fact that he's one of the tallest players on the court when both teams are playing small, it should be even easier to grab double digit rebounds. Lastly, when the ball is in your hands for the initial 16-20 seconds of the shot clock, you can routinely register double digit assists.

What is difficult though, is putting it all together when the lights are at their brightest and the whole world is watching. That is why LeBron doesn't hold a candle to a single player on the All-Time Top 10.

Enjoy your clams.
