How has Lebron managed to turn then into stone? All of a sudden these three completely serviceable players managed to turn into non NBA players? Both of them were contributing solid players last year in the playoffs...

Playoffs last year:
Mike Miller (Mem): 25 mpg, 7 ppg, 4 rpg
Marion (Dall): 28 mpg, 8.5 ppg, 5 rpg

A year is a lot for older nba players. You get worse after you pass your prime. Marion announced his retirement. Blatt agreed.

Miller plays spot minutes, but he's been absolutely awful defensively this year

these guys aren't even on the "wrong side of 30", they're on the wrong side of 35 lol... well Miller is 35 and Marion is 37... The Mavs championship (with Marion) feels like a long time ago, let alone his Matrix days when he was averaging ~20 ppg / 11 rpg / 2 bpg / 2 spg

You may not be familiar with the offense the Cavs are now running because it is a bit unorthodox. Most teams run "UCLA set" or "Princeton" or "Triangle" or "Motion" etc etc.. the same boring stuff. The Cavs are currently running "Kobe System" which is an entirely different beast. In this offense, one player is the designated chucker (called "the Kobe") and everyone else is relegated to spot up shooting (called "the supporting cast"). Occasionally "the supporting cast" will experience a slight decline in statistical output. To take a random example, Steve Nash went from a 2x MVP 19/10 type of player to a 12/6 "glue guy" under Kobe System. But it was well-worth it, for the Lakers made the #7 seed that year!

You realize how ridiculous this is right?

Smush, Luke, Farmar, Bynum, Odom, Pau, Shaq had their best statistical and impact years with Kobe. After about 2013 he has been awful....we all knew he wouldn't age well or take playing a diff way. Young and prime and second prime Kobe made every role player or superstar he ever played with much better and a household name.

I would love to see Marion play... That isn't Lebron's fault.. Don't know why the coach won't play him... The guy still has some left... BLATT needs to put him in at the four.. Marion can stretch the floor and still rebound as well as finish around the rim.... BIG MISTAKE IMO BY BLATT...

Fascinating. So those guys had their best years because they were with Kobe, and not because they were in their prime age for basketball players. Didn't realize that.
