It's a bad shooting percentage, but it's the way it has to be. He's gotta create shots for himself and others. No one else can do it on the team. The Warriors defense is playing good one him usually, give them credit.

LeBron had his hand on 70 of the Cavs 91 points. He shot a decent 44% from the field, shot 3/8 from three. Scored 40 points, had 14 rebounds, 11 assists with a steal and only 2 turnovers and they still lost. You can't ask the man to do much else.

The difference in the loses is the Cavs aren't knocking down shots like they were and the Warriors lineup changes has promoted more of a transition offense.

When Lebron is on the bench, the team is shooting 18 percent. 18 PERCENT

It's very necessary.

Lebron doesn't have a Pippen or Shaq/Gasol etc.

If he was getting doubled it'd be understandable but he's getting left alone in single coverage all game...

He missed a lot of gimmes, but also help defense would come over (usually Green) to double LeBron at the last minute multiple times at the basket.

People saying he's single covered the whole time every time are delusional.

i love how MJ stans are jumping on the FG% bandwagon now. Back when lebron was shooting 57% in the finals, they say he's stat padding. Now he's averaging a 40 point triple double they all say "bubu but dat FG% doe."

Kobe's last FMVP in 2010 he scored 8 ppg less than Lebron on .405 shooting. 5 less rebounds, 5 less assists and of course 6/24 in game 7.

He couldnt even get of those.

Sure he could shoot better but look at the roster, EVERY play goes through him. Even if they lose he is still helping his legacy with this series. It's like watching an NBA2k game where the player controlled character (lebron) handles and creates every possession.

And the next night he wasn't even good enough to get 10 minutes.

That's the difference between great big men and big men like Mozgov, who couldn't even consistently finish plays against players 7 inches shorter than he was.

Now that Lebron can't rely on barreling his way into the paint, he's gotta rely on his jumper. And he's getting EXPOSED. Literally and figuratively. :oldlol:

Lebron's FG%, 3pt% and FT% are all higher than the rest of the team, so it would seem to be a good thing that he takes so many shots.

The Warriors are a great defensive team, and the Cavs are seriously shorthanded, so low shooting percentages are the inevitable outcome.

Funny how it's a team sport when Lebron loses but a solo carrying effort when he wins.

Story of his career.

Don't forget, Lebron was the defacto coach when the cavs offense was humming (#1 in the post-season) until the Finals, but I guess he has nothing to do with the maligned decisions such as shortened player rotations or going small in game 5.

I assume you're smarter and more capable of actually analyzing the game than resorting to something like that. No one blamed his team in 2011 when they lost; it was all on him. And who gives him all the praise when they win? You have people slobbing on Wade's knob despite coming to play every other night, or Ray Allen for hitting a clutch shot.

This year, it's clearly not on LeBron as there is little more any player in NBA history could do given the circumstances.

It's ok to use context and not boil down basketball to black and white elementary school logic.
