Let's give Lebron ALL of the credit but NONE of the blame.

I'm pretty sure LeBron assisted on every single JR Smith basket last night.
So yeah, when a guy who is the secondary creator scores a total of ZERO points not asst by another guy that other guy probably made him better.

anyone with half a brain knows that JR is going to have really bad games and really good games. It's because he's a chucker who doesn't get many easy buckets. Unless Bron is feeding him open 3's you can't give hmi credit either way.
Let's give Lebron ALL of the credit but NONE of the blame.
that's the Lebron way
if they win = all on lebron
if they lose = his team is too weak

Exactly. People just don't want to admit that bron is one of the most overrated stars in NBA history.

It's partly because he gets the same shots every night. Are you saying if he makes open shots created by LeBron, we're supposed to credit JR, and if he misses open shots we're supposed to blame LeBron!?
JR's a shooter, he's supposed to make shots, no one else you can blame for missing shots than him. And LeBron gets credit if he creates open shots for JR, not if he's making those high difficulty step back fades he likes to take.

it's probably fatigue...these guys are all playing on fumes and sometimes they open shots just don't fall and mistakes happen more frequently
Lebron got like 5 assists on those 3s where JR was red hot and ended up getting his triple double because of it
what we will hear from the media is that JR had a hot stretch and then choked/faded in the 2nd half while Lebron "carried" the team, but was not good enough (Lebron shot 6/18 in the 2nd half)

true. LeBron never gets criticized. No one blamed him for anything his whole career

Honestly, he would play much better as the 4th option, even 3rd, but now that he is the legitimate 2nd option, the GSW defense can just give him more attention than he normally deserves, so naturally his offensive numbers will suffer.
It's generally JR's fault though. :hammerhead:

Or if you're a Lebron hater, like yourself, give him all of the blame, but none of the credit.

This idiot
So when cavs players miss it was NEVER Lebron that pass them the ball
Someone shooting without Lebron passing them the ball, that's a statistically improbability right there.
The stupidity and homerism of some people is just cringe worthy.

Making a pass to someone camping behind the 3 point line that any D-league player can make it's not create a shot off a pass. Holding the ball top of the key then pass the ball to JR that take a dribble and drain a contested 3 is not create a shot off a pass. JR hot in first half LEbron 9 assists, JR cold second half Lebron 2 assists.. there you have it, in a a nutshell the "amazing" playmaking ability of King James.
Truth hurts
Dude jumps ship twice in his prime to stacked teams and somehow never has good teammates.
Dude keeps losing despite amazing stats but somehow people don't realize he doesn't play for the team, the team plays for him. When someone sees Lebron run through a screen let me know.
Dude is a statpadder loser, Curry game 1 makes a crossover on him and shoots on his face and he disappears
Yes.
Because if/when he shoots great he is/was most likely getting great looks which most of/if not all Lebron created for him....
But when he is 1-7 its either:
1. He is chucking up stupid shots himself out of isos etc. forcing shots. (which is usually 25-30 foot heavy contested heaves with vast defensive pressure, Kobesque shots)
2. He is bricking great looks Lebron created for him, its up to him to make the shots afterall, if he cant make them he didnt put in the time before the game to really warm up most likely, there are guys coming in 3-6+ hours before the game, is Smiths will/determination/work ethic that good especially in a Finals?
3. A combination of the above.

Yes when you are bird fed with open shots and the only thing you are good for is shooting, you are supposed to make them.
When you go 1-7 as a pure shooter, how the fk is it not your fault? Can Lebron make your shots for you?
So dumb, are you a kobe stan?

It's more like JR will have 10 bad games, and one really good game.

- 1 was actually created by LeBron driving and kicking it out to JR.
- 3 were JR running around screens and getting open while LeBron just stood at the top of the key waiting to give him the ball. LeBron didn't create anything.
- 1 was JR receiving the ball from LeBron, facing up with Curry, taking three dribbles trying to go past him and drilling a jumpshot in his face. I still have no idea why LeBron got credited for an assist there.

JR was one of the best spotup shooters long before Cleveland, he was top 3 or 5 by stats in NY
