Where does he rank all time :confusedshrug:

He'll have an MVP, FMVP and an NBA ring...

I've no idea where I'd put him, what say you?

Doesn't matter if he wins ''FMVP''. He's been average in the finals, that's all matters in my GOAT ranking.

Top 50 for sure.

Where he's placed and who he is kicking out is another question.

I plead the fifth

Overall All-Time is too soon to determined but All-Time PG list, he should be Top 5 with Magic, Oscar, Zeke and Stockton.

it'd have just as much weight as Paul Pierce winning it in 2008, Chauncey Billups in 04. Those teams were stacked, just like this GSW team. They are their team's best players but they aren't that great. Curry IS the GOAT shooter doe, that's a fact. But he aint superstar superstar level.

he would win on his first finals appearance, this alone puts him ahead of lebald in the top 30ish

Billups was almost just another journeyman prior to going to Detroit. Pierce was never really in any kind of list prior to the Big 3 formation.

Fact that Curry is already the GOAT on the All-Time shooters list gives him a lot more potential than Pierce and Billups. And Curry still has about 7 more great years to go. Having an MVP is already a huge bonus.

29/5/6 with 2 spg on 61% TS in the playoffs.

26/5/6 on 45% FG and 41% 3FG while being doubled every single time he steps past the half court line is average? There's nothing average about the double teams he's been seeing all series long, I don't think I've ever seen a player get as much defensive attention as Curry has. EVER.

Curry is 27. MJ was roughly that age when he won his first title and nobody was calling him the GOAT at that time.

Kinda early to try to rank Curry all time. He has plenty of prime years left. Not to early to say he is one of the GOAT 3 point shooters though. He has destroyed the previous record for most 3s made in the playoffs.

"Average" in the Finals? He had one bad game. In the other 4 games he is averaging 28 ppg shooting 50% from the field and from 3. That is hardly average.

He has made some bad turnovers though.

The main takeaway is that he will be 1/1... and that's the closest we've been yet to seeing the best player on a team that could possibly demonstrate 6/6 finals perfection when it's all said and done.

This is not some 1990's shit where you can lie about and get away with it. THe games are fresh in our memories. He is only doubled when asks for a pick. Miami Heat did that to all the teams. By your logic, 2014 finals, Tony Parker got doubled every single time he stepped pas the half court line.

Take away his game 5 stats, post stats including his turnover per game, then i'll tell you if it's average or not.

Duncan is 5/6 and was 28 seconds away from 6/6 with 5 "The Man" rings. He's the most GOAT player since Jordan easily.

not enough seasons played yet to automatically get a boost to where a season mvp/fmvp/title will eventually have him

right now hes not top 50 yet just based on no experience

log 12+ seasons and hes automatically top 35 all time. if hes consistently great he could climb to 25th

if hes legendary he can crack the top 20

i feel a guy needs atleast 10+ years to even be considered for all time rankings
