Kobe and MJ are two way players.. you always see their great defense show up in the playoffs and finals but where is it from lebron?

of course he is. he's been so damn good defensively, in fact, that hes been able to hold Iggy to double his regular season ppg.

about as much D as he normally does, which is very little.

I get it, in his position you gotta save yourself for offense, rebounding, playmaking, etc. It's just that he's been playing lazy d for like 2-3 years and no one in the media seems to have cared or noticed the massive drop off from where his defense used to be at the first time he was in Cleveland

Lebron playing average D now due to age and all energy he has to use on offense he has to do almost everything for Cavs to stay competitive against Warriors.

Only time his D was seen in this series was prior to the start of Game 4...

Sorry, too easy not to...

He's only played decent defense in 2 games of the NBA finals. Game 2 and 3, and funnily enough they won both games. He was below average in games 4 and 5, trying to conserve energy.

His on-ball defense isn't actually that bad ( GSW don't run much isolation offense) but his off-ball D which tend's to be his strength has been below average in the aforementioned games, often failing to make rotations or being late/slow on closeouts.

Not elite, but average is my summary of Lebron's D in the finals, can't blame him for the lack of energy as he's exerting so much on offense ( He is the offense).

No he is not and if ppl paid close attention they would see it. He get's on his teammates for the same mistakes he makes. I've seen so many times where he doesn't even contest a freaking layup, loses his man and not boxing out. Don't get me started how he can be on the other end of the court complaining to the refs while leaving his teammates to go 4 vs 5.

Last game they won I saw a story saying that Lebron has set the example and has his team locked in on d. It's that kind of bullshit that make me dislike him (even though it isn't his fault for stories like that). The media seems adverse to giving his teammates credit when it's due. Lebrons done **** all on d all series, it's fair enough considering the offensive load he is handling, but don't try and spin it like he is the reason they are playing great d.

I love how you subtly lumped kobe in with jordan. Very dishonest of you.

I've seen him lockdown Bogut and Ezeli. Shades of him locking down Kendrick Perkins in the 2012 Finals

Kobe, even past his peak and with focked up knees was a GREAT defender in 2010 finals.
Not to mention being a lockdown guy in threepeat era

Just saying at least Kobe willingly guarded the other team's best player.

Right on cue. Draymond scores on him and then Lebron yells at his teammate for making him play defense

No, he stands around yelling at his teammates to defend. Then when his man gets a wide open layup/dunk he stares down the help defense:lol.

Nikkas always ignore how stacked Brans defenses are. Especially 07 that was the reason they were winning games their stacked D and rebounding. Thats why Spurs didnt blow em out in every game despite Bran playing like complete trash
and no his defense has been bad this series
