lol don't even bother asking the question because you'll receive nothing but garbage from overly defensive cavs fans.

worst part is if Love opts in the Cavs could be forced to watch TT walk in free agency too, so trading Wiggins for Love would have basically meant Wiggins + TT for Love.

Though maybe Bron will throw one of his fits, demand that Cleveland keep Thompson, pay insane luxury fines (that will only get higher as they repeat) for the next 5 years and get a deal done

I don't understand the point you're trying to make. The Cavs are in the finals and primed to contend for at least 2 more years with Love and the Sixers might lose Embiid for another season and keep tanking like they don't care at the bottom of the standings.

Call me when Kobe makes the playoffs again.

the cavs would be in the finals regardless... atleast with wiggins their window would have only grew

at best cleveland can hope for more finals losses... with a prime wiggins who knows.. they might have actually won it all with lebron as his sidekick

a move that gave the Cavs the most injury prone roster in the league. Kyrie, AV, Shump, and Love. Damn idiots run that organization.

Nah I can't wait for LeGM to trade JR for Kobe next year though

Cleveland needs to upgrade their bench

Love: "One day, I'll be back on that court getting empty stats. One day soon..."

Yeah, then Cleveland's defense will return to below average level and then the rest of the league can laugh while Cleveland's fans hype up their team after another year of demolishing the East in the regular season/playoffs only to get ROFLstomped in the Finals again.

What would Andrew Wiggins have provided in these finals that this Cavs team needs right now? Please tell me.

Wiggins will be a good player, no doubt, but he had a pretty mediocre rookie season with his raw and unpolished play which earned him rookie of the year through means of the class being weaker than expected and honestly, Jabari's injury. Not to mention he almost lost it to Nerlens with his poor play by the end of the season. And you want to tell me he would have Lebron winning right now?

The amount of goalposts you put up to discredit Lebron on here is laughable. I hope whatever pleasure you get out of watching the dude potentially lose tonight or later helps you cope with the fact the Lakers are going to be nowhere near Cleveland or Golden State in terms of contentions for the forseeable future.

Rookie of the year by default cause he had no competition. Plus, who's to say they would have made the trade to bring in Moz, JR and Shump?

What position would Wiggins have played on this Cavs team? What's the lineup after LeBron says he's signing back with Cleveland?

Cavs had to make that move. If you have a shot at winning now and you have the best player in the league you can't stand by hoping that a rookie who had not played a single game yet would get you over the edge. You do everything in your power to WIN NOW and let's face it with the way this series has gone if they had a healthy Varejao, Love and Irving they'd probably have won it easily. Idiots will sit here and talk about them being stupid while posting stats IN HINDSIGHT but they just look stupid doing that.

I'm not sure the point of this thread? Was the point to show us the Timberwolves would suck ass so much they get another #1 pick or to show the Cavs made the Finals?

I agree. In the long-term, even if the Cavs don't win a title it was the right decision to do. Look how far they got in the first year with Love being out 3 of the 4 playoff series, and Irving being under 80% almost the whole playoffs until he was gone for the series after Game 1 in the Finals?

Great, now the Cavs would have "won easily" with a healthy Irving, Love, and Varejao

Have any of yall heard of this thing called defense?

Nonetheless, banking on the collective health of Irving, Love, and Varejao, 3 guys who are all injury prone as hell, is stupid as ****.

Everytime I see Wiggins, i can't help but think he's got sugar in the tank. I don't know if it's his mannerisms, style, expressions or what...

I've never thought this about any other player.
