Let's be real here. Golden State choked like CRAZY this series. Flashes of Curry and Green, iggy was the only consistent player. Klay was a fkn joke. I think if not for having the shitty depleted cavs in front of them they would have lost against a variety of underdog teams.

agreed, warriors got exposed

Klay = Choker
Barnes = Struggles for 10 ppg with open looks
Green = Struggles for 10 ppg with open looks
Bogut = Struggles for 5 ppg and to play for 10+ minutes
Iguodala = Got lucky and streaky while dared into open gym shots
Lee = Struggles to play for 5 mins a game due to being a human turnstyle
Barbosa = Barbosa...
Livingston = Injured toothpick who has never scored over 10 ppg

The fact that Curry was able to lead this ragtag crew to 67 wins and a chip in the stacked West is amazing. Curry is easily the best player in the league now.

The Cavs did have 3 things going for them:

1. Intense defense, especially on the perimeter.

2. Good rebounding. Mozgov and TT together can terrorize a defense.

3. Bran James

Even though they were offensively challenged, that was a tough Cleveland team. They just didn't have enough.

Klay didn't play well after game 1, and Curry was spotty. Some of that was the Cavs tight defense, though.

No doubt should've been a sweep or 4-1 imo, GS seemed like they wanted the Cavs to win at times

if there was ever an asterisk championship, this would be it...a team that didn't even play at their highest level won a chip, they just played good enough to beat a crap team

Golden State fans should thank:

1. LA Lakers, for not making the playoffs.
2. New Orleans Hornets, for eliminating OKC from the playoffs.
3. LA Clippers, for eliminating the Spurs in the 1st round.
4. Houston Rockets, for eliminating the Clippers in the 2nd round.

If the Warriors had to go through OKC or Spurs or Clippers, they might not have gotten to the finals.

Once Kobe and OKC are healthy, the natural order of things will be restored in the West, and the league will probably get their long-awaited for Kobe vs. LeBron final.

Yup... Golden State was just charmed this year. No doubt they are an amazing team, but the teams they have played have mostly had key injuries, and some of what most people think are the better teams in the West, they never had to face. And on top of all of that, they were quite healthy and very deep. Stars have to align to win a championship.
