yeah I did. great defense, but its just easier to guard a player when if you get tired you can put the guy who was 2nd in defensive player of the year voting on him and then when he gets tired put another reliable defender on him.

on our side we had delly guarding curry and when he got tired we were basically f*cked.

Tired from what?

He stands on the corner on both ends. :confusedshrug:

Sure he plays a ton of minutes, but so have many other greats that had to face much more.

Bron's minutes again are highly overrated, stands there for offense, stands there on defense.

same shit every year. if lebron shoots 25 or less shots then he is b*tch who can't handle pressure and won't shoot.

shoots 33 shots while his teammates can't make shit and he's a ballhog.

if you watch the nba and know the players then you know that lebron had to put 30 or more shots or us winning just wasn't plausible.

One - Honestly I think it's bad form for Iggy to say anything about Lebron at this point -- you just won the championship, if you can't say nice things and keep it positive, you lack class. That's my reaction.

Two - What LBJ said was stupid though -- it demonstrated the attitude that Kerr knew he could take advantage of, and I'm sure they did use it as bulletin board material, and confirmation of their game plan.

Three - That said, GSW were winning this series no matter what. When Kyrie went down it WAS over.

Him doing the single coverage on Lebron enabled the Warrior to play small ball and shut the down the Cavs perimeter game and not have the Cavs create any sort of offensive rhythm. I thought that was the adjustment made by the Warriors that made the difference.

I agree with the CLE Finals, but what of the MIA Finals? 2/4 and one of them on a hail mary 3 from Ray Allen? He's lucky to have 2 if not for Spurs mess-up.

I don't hate Lebron, but I hate the media build-up. Those 4 people who voted for him for FMVP have no business doing so (winning trumps all) - he averaged that much because it was Kerr's strategy - let him have his and it won't be enough but the media's built him up so much. Kinda ironic that he left MIA to get more help and it backfired on him, but such is life - look at OKC - I'm sure Riley will sleep well tonight.

I agree with this wholeheartedly. Wouldn't mind if he 1 or 2 votes, the guy played his tail off in the finals - but for Curry to not get one single vote? Pretty absurd tbh

Seems as though these "voters" were attempting to throw shade at Curry for leading his Warriors past a LeBron led Cavs team.

Jeff Van Gundy actually said LeBron could have stayed home in Akron tonight and he would still be the MVP of this series.

This is a key factor of me not having a single shred of sympathy for the Cavs being undermaned. This dude jumped ship and tried to restack the deck, if anything Love and Irving going down was Karma.

kerr had the right strategy but come on... i could have come up with that shit given the other players on lebrons roster. i wouldn't say it backfired... cleveland 100% has more talent, just so happened that they all got injured during or before the finals.

but i get what he meant.
While I get that he put up some great stats, some people just aren't focusing on the fact that Lebron had the ball literally almost every position. I would love to see his usage percentage in this series. It's gotta be top 5 if not top 3 all time in any series. He literally had the ball all the time. Now granted I understand that the Cavs needed that and this isn't intended to bash Lebron but considering how much he had the ball really his stats aren't all that impressive. He played terrible defense almost all series and was ineffecient with his shooting and turnovers. I was impressed by his rebounding numbers but everywhere else he just didn't play up to his normal standards of efficiency. Again not intended as a bash Lebron post because he played his heart out but people need to stop overrating his numbers in this series.

literally had the ball all the time yet still won 2 games by himself and lost other games by 10 points? damn, imagine he had a second teammate to just give the ball to 5% of the time :O
