wide open shots too
Cavs fans were telling me they felt more comfortable with JR taking contested threes than Lebron squaring up on open jumpers

Holy shit that's god awful hard to believe Lebron shot was off all year long no jumpshoot or mid range game to speak of and struggled from 3.

Imagine how bad it would've been if their center was taller than 6'7" and could guard the paint... or if he ever saw anything besides single coverage (actually, he did in game 4... see results :lol ).

That's terrible. He was single covered most of the time too, no?
Those delusional, ass-sucking stans that voted for him for FMVP should never be allowed weigh in on anything basketball-related again. They made damn fools of themselves and should be called out for it.

Like I said in another thread, in 20 years from now when they show some games from this series on NBATV people gonna watch it and say LeBron's game is whack and the game was basic back then :lol

Its actually amazing.. the same media that blasted kobe nonstop woth bashing articles this year for shooting poorly and taking allot of shots are the ones who praised lebron and gave him mvp votes for seemingly shooting even worse all around
Kobe shot nothing but long jumpers and atleast hit 38%
Lebron taking those same shots made just 28%
Yet kobe is "the worst player in the league" and lebrons "the best player by far and finals mvp"
Lol the double stabdard is real
This is why that chump has 3 more season mvps
Media bullshit

The media loves them some Lebron especially ESPN while national media for most part dislikes Kobe post Eaglewood, Colorado 2004.

Hmmm... does this qualify LeBron as a volume-shooter?
I think it might.
Even Kobe, at his most volume-shooterness, is often drawing more than one defender.

It was even worse in 2012. 19%, IIRC (took fewer shots of course). It was swept under the rug because the refs made sure they won.

Yup, his jumper was off all playoffs long. Hope he finds it again in the offseason. Regardless, he showed a lot of heart and did a lot of other tangible and intangible things in these playoffs and finals, things that you would be calling ALPHA if it was Kobe doing them.

Curry getting O FMVP votes. You gotta keep up with all of these meaningless catch phrases mang!
0-11, 1-9, 2-6, 2-7(could be referring to Bron next year or Kobe only winning 2 titles as the man, to clear up ambiguity), 6-24, etc...

I know that there is basically no point in communicating with you because you are quite frankly dishonest, and have no interest in objectivity at all, but circumstances are circumstances.
Kobe started off in LA, Lebron in Cleveland. Kobe got to play early on with a dominant Shaq, and win 3 titles due to it. Lebron got to play with Big Z and Boobie Gibson and got swept with only one trip. He is responsible for 2011 no doubt, but that is really the only time I would put the blame squarely on his shoulders. If you were honest, you would see it the same way also.
Kobe had a bad team for 2 years of his prime, and he threatened the organization and almost left. It worked for him, and they got a better team around him and he won 2 out of 3 finals.
Lebron chose to go to another team after 7 hard years, and it also paid off for him in winning 2 out of 4 finals appearances. But he never would have won jack sh*t had he stayed in Cleveland and things had continued to go the way they were with his front office.
Don't act like Kobe would do anything differently if he were wallowing in squalor for his first 7 years in Cleveland.

So should player effectiveness be based on long range jumper percentage or all around game? Genuine curiosity.

i'm pretty sure hes not. based on every single current and former player/coaches opinion and majority world wide
the only guy i've ever heard put lebron over kobe all time was stephen a. smith .. and that was when the cavs had a 2-1 advantage in the finals
