Texas/California teams have represented the West 29 out of 35 times since the inception of the 3 point line.

The criteria can be changed to the fact that only Texas and California based teams have won the West since 1979.

Lakers - 10/16
Spurs - 5/6
Rockets - 2/4
Mavericks -1/2
Warriors - 1/1

The rest have been won by the East.

Cali/Lakers (Minneapolis) and Texas own all but 4 or 5 of the West championships.

Of course Boston, Chicago, Detroit, and Miami probably own almost all of the East championships.

Before posting that retarded list I made, not gonna lie, I had to think for a second or two about finalists other than LA and SA. :lol

They've completely decimated that conference.
