D Lee can still play and ever ages a double double back in 2013.
He might be a great fit for the Cavs if Love leaves.

Can they get rid of him in a way to make cap room?

Source?

I don't see any point keeping him either. He can definitely thrive on a different team.

Rumor is we are gonna try to move him before or during the draft. He's still a very good player, great attitude, and is an expiring contract. Lots of teams can use his service.

Draygod gonna put us back over the cap, even after we move Lee.

We will have the 3m/3 years MLE and Vet mins to offer. That's all. Everyone will be back though, unless Barbosa wants to try and get more than the Vet min somewhere else.

I was really surprised at how aggressive and tough he plays on offense, particularly handling contact well down low. Was he usually like that on the Warriors since I don't remember him being like that on the Knicks?

His offense was always fine. But the problem with him is his turnstyle defense. It was one of the reasons the Warriors didn't beat the Clips last year. He was/is pathetic on defense. Pretty sure he averaged 20-10 on the Knicks 1 year and made the all-star game. Of course the Knicks other marquee guy was Nate Robinson, so yah, they sucked :lol

He's an outstanding offensive player. Can finish with the left or right from the post. Can shoot the midrange. Sets nice screens. Can finish off the roll and isn't too bad off the dribble. Great passer. Solid rebounder.

Now, defensively...

So as it turned out, Lee was the one who was the key to the Warriors championship run and not Bogut.

Yeah, I was one of those who said Bogut's health was the key to their championship hopes.

Raps need PF. He should be next best target after Tristan Thompson.

Agree if you are only referring to the Cleveland series, but Bogut was the defensive anchor all year up until the finals.

Check out their record without Bogut in the reg season... defense drops tremendously

W/o Bogut they are probably 50-55 win team and struggle against Pelicans, Memphis, and even Houston

GSWs could get away with Lee on the floor because there wasn't anybody on the Cavs who could take advantage of his weak defense consistently
