Does this hold true?
I don't think his game can translate over to this current generation of players. The game obviously is geared towards small ball and the stretch 4's with a faster more uptempo game.
Is Lebron's game passe today?

Agreed, his era was the one where the NBA desperately forced a mediocre man to fraudulently play the role of an ATG

Depends on what the circumstances are.
If he grew up in a different era I think he'd be fine, if he were time travelled back to another era I think he'd struggle adapting to the contact and the different rule set.

Without putting much thought here are guys that can play in any era:
Kobe
Jordan
Magic
Bird
Barkley
Duncan
Hakeem
Thera are others but small ball and stretch 4 positions eliminate some bigs and PFs.

In case you missed it, the Cavs great stretch 4 got hurt in the first round of the playoffs and was done for the season. He is also a great outlet passer. The Cavs want James as a recipient of those outlet passes to run the fast break to create scoring.

I believe Lebron can dominate in any era.
Prime athletic lebron is more athletic than Dominique Wilkins while being 20 pounds heavier.
Lebron does not shy away from contact. he was attacking Golden State and the refs were just letting them play. I believe some of the toughest defenders have stated lebron has them hurting the next day.
I think its hilarious how much people hate the guy. His STANS are not as worse as Kobe.

just think about this. Lebron, an era specific player, dominated Kobe in the supposed "kobe era". What does that make Kobe?
:lol
