THanks, tho I already knew I could do it the long way like that, what I was curious about was if I could make it so that I could just type : biggums : or : bowdown : etc. rather than having to paste in an img url every time.

On your Web site, you'd have to set up an image folder/directory with all of these smileys in there. Then you can just use your own : biggums : without having to use [ img ]...url [ /img ]
