Doubt it. Healthy OKC/revitalized SAS will be legit contenders.
No. Gentry headed all the way next season

They should be able to bring back everybody, considering they're going to trade David Lee. I could see them not bringing back Speights either and getting a mid-level guy. So their core and depth will still be in tact.
Of course SA and OKC will be contenders as well, but I definitely think GSW has a chance to repeat. GSW has the perfect recipe, there's no other team that has the offensive firepower that GSW, while being just as good at the defensive end.

Conference Finals is my prediction.

Im not sure the Spurs can rely on Tony Parker to be revitalized anymore.

Obviously it's more likely that one of the other 29 teams will win, especially with a Cavs team coming back healthy, but I like Golden State's chances better than what Vegas/odds are giving them.

:oldlol:
Tony Parker is a fat bastard, I meant the infusion of either Marc Gasol or Aldridge (assuming that either happens).

Haha, but they need a point guard if Tony Parker continues to regress. I cant trust that team until I see them play.
Also the damn choking Clippers must have something to prove next year.

They have something to prove for the past 3 years....but they can't.

Start Patty Mills. Parker is a bad man, it really couldn't hurt to experiment with Mills as a starter, even if it starts as a trial to gauge his effectiveness.
Clippers are perennial disappointments, I'm losing any faith I ever had in them. It's a shame, I've got a lot of respect for Paul but he can't even make it to the conference finals.

Blake Griffin took a huge jump to be honest. One more year can be all the difference

I doubt it. Healthy Spurs/Cavs/OKC will give GSW all they can handle and more.
Its hard to repeat, all stars should align, and GSW isnt superstacked with talent either.

They have depth though. So they are more likely to stay healthy and rested.

I think next year the Spurs officially hit the wall. Unless all or most of these happen: they land one of the big FAs and he fits in quickly, Parker gets ******l rejuvenation, and Leonard takes the next step in his game.
Because Ginobili looks done. Like legit done. And now you got Parker trending that way? Unless Leonard takes that Steph Curry MVP jump, even Pop can't make a declining Parker/Mills, Green (if he even returns), Leonard, Duncan, and Splitter into contenders. Duncan is like a year from retirement too. Tho he's aged miraculously well. Then with Parker and Ginobili in question, you better reload on the depth or you got very little. Which obviously is a crucial component to the way the Spurs play, more so than a team like the Warriors because you rely on 2-3 old players in your "big 3"-ish.

Parker needs to take a pay cut and come off the bench. It's the least he can do after all the chips he's cost us.

They have 20/10 David Lee sitting on the bench not getting any minutes... They could afford to have Bogut sit out games in the finals...
They are the deepest team 1-12 ever. Not super stacked with talent... :facepalm
Speights, Igoudala, Livingston and Lee can all be starters for more than half the league.

Tony Parker is a bad man who ****s his teammates' wives.
Timmy D for MVP

Right now I'll take the field over them. It remains to be seen if they get everyone back and they faced a lot of hampered competition. They will at best stay pat while others presumably get better.
I would still call them the favorites. But I do not predict a repeat.

Healthy Beverly, Conley/Allen, Westbrook, CP3 guarding Curry.

Whole different play offs.

Curry's torched Beverly already, Conley/Allen couldn't do jackshit when the Warriors won 3 in a row against Memphis, Curry averaged 23/4/8 on CP3 in the playoffs last year, and Westbrook barely shoots 40% against Curry :oldlol:
