He could instantly turn Detroit or Boston into contenders. The Raptors or Pacers would also be a good fit but I don't think they have the cap space.
Not the Knicks tho if he's serious about winning.

Sign and trade him to New York. LA for Melo.

Crazy how he's just another guy in the West for how good he is.

hes going to SAS...he'd be prettydumb not too

they need a TD replacement, and still have TD as a teacher to assist his game...win-win

any eastern team can be a contender with the adition of 1 good piece. if by contending we mean getting humiliated in the finals tho

Just another guy? Outside of Anthony Davis/Blake Griffin, what other PFs are better than LMA?

Even in the east, his team would get bounced out of first, may be second round unless he goes to the bulls, hawks or maybe wizards.

Cavs can't get him even if love leaves.

So the fact remains that he would need to go to 3 of the top 4 seeds in east to even have a chance of making ECF. it is not much different in the west.

Unless Duncan is playing for free next year or they jettison a big salary, Spurs don't have cap room to bring in an Aldridge.

Do the Mavs?

Boston made the Playoffs with a 40-42 record, without Aldridge. We have so many future Draft picks and top young players that in a couple years time, with a star like Aldridge to build around, we could easily become title contenders.

Drummond/Aldridge isn't a good 4/5 combo? Boston needs a go to star to a already good core.

They do. 5 of the guys are FA and it's not likely that they will resign all of them. And Duncan and Ginobili(if he comes back) will have smaller contracts than last year.

I never understood why someone would sign with the Lakers,Spurs, or Heat. You would be much more appreciated if you brought a championship to a team with a title drought.

I love how New York's easy path to the Finals includes replacing 4 out of their 5 starters :oldlol:

If Aldridge signed with a team like Boston he'd probably make them be a 3rd or so seed as the current rosters stand. (He'd be the 2nd player in the conference - weird thought.) They wouldn't be potent enough to seriously have a shot to win a title, but they possibly could if they signed a co-star with him. I don't know what their cap situation is.

At this point, i'm thinking he stays in Portland because he has a better team there than in Dallas and the S.A. situation is looking like a long shot.
