That's one of the excuses being used by Lebronnettes for Bron's inability to finish at the rim.

They feel a defense collapsing on a defender is exclusive to only Lebron.

And as usual, they're completely wrong.

Hebron simply didn't have this level of explosiveness and ability to avoid defenders in the air. MJ literally maneuvers his body around, under and through multiple defenders while in the air.

But his explosive first step sets it up, followed by his lightning quick jump.

Every great player has to face that, obviously. Why does it always have to be in compatison to MJ? It's like the people like you, blindly hating, don't realize you're doing a service comparing LeBron to the GOAT. Just ignore the idiots who think he's the best ever and appreciate that he's a top 10 talent.

I know that every great player has to face that, never denied it.

Simply responding to the excuses that people are using. Someone literally stated that Lebron is the ONLY player to ever face help defense.

Some mentioned that MJ never faced such defense:biggums:

And NO, not all of them are trolls, some are dead serious.... at least I hope so.

Imo Bron IS a top 10 player, has been for a while. And the media along with casual fans (his) should accept that and stop comparing him to MJ. Which don't pretend doesn't happen with every chance they get.

So this video isn't solely to shatter their lies and delusions, but to re-eduate those that have forgotten. And explain 'why' MJ was as successful at finishing at the rim, which some people still don't get.

Another thread where an OP announces his ignorance about defensive principals used in todays NBA. C'mon ISH. You need to be better.

Strong side help was illegal until about 10 years ago and wasn't utilized until Thibs made it popular when the 08 Celtics utilized it to great affect.

So stop pretending that MJ saw it. It was a technical foul in MJs era.

Make no mistake, two men are marking LeBron. One immediately in front of him and another just before the rim. There is an enormous difference between someone coming off his man (who can shield, get in the way, become an offensive option) and standing there in the best possible place, ready to contest a drive.

He's a top 10 "talent" no doubt. If you don't think so, you're a hater. I could see putting him outside top 10 based on career achievements, specifically if you really value longevity, but just outside.

why not just respond in that thread then, instead of making a new one?
