I don't get it. What does this have to do with Rudy Gay, and why is Lebron bashing himself?

I believe that quote was him bashing Gay's production during a game where he took a lot of shots.

Only 20 in game 4? :biggums: :biggums:

What happened in game 4 is one of many indictments against Lebron being a top 5 player all-time. Shaq level talent, nothing more.

He should have taken the Warriors' heart that night and put the series away.

Cleveland was only down 6 going into the 4th quarter. Mozgov carried him all game with 28/10, giving him a much needed breather on offense.

Then this guy has the nerve to lead his team to a 12 point quarter in the most important game of the series, with a chance to go up 3-1. At home. Unforgivable.

He got completely outplayed by Iggy in that game.

Lost by 20+ points.

Flip the series around for the Warriors.

It went quickly to a ten point in the 4th w/o James on the court.

"Matthew Dellavedova misses 18-foot step back jumpshot
"James Jones out of bounds lost ball turnover
"J.R. Smith defensive rebound
"J.R. Smith misses 8-foot Running Jumper
"Matthew Dellavedova defensive rebound
"Matthew Dellavedova misses 7-foot two point shot

James subbed for Delly with 10:11 left and Mozgov back in 14 seconds later.
The Cavs were never able to get closer than 10 after that.

This 37 second non scoring sequence really hurt.

"LeBron James defensive rebound
8:47........82-72 J.R. Smith misses 26-foot three point jumper
8:45........82-72 Iman Shumpert offensive rebound
8:34........82-72 Iman Shumpert misses 15-foot jumper
8:34........82-72 Cavaliers offensive team rebound
8:25........82-72 J.R. Smith misses three point jumper
8:23........82-72 Timofey Mozgov offensive rebound
8:11........82-72 J.R. Smith misses 23-foot three point jumper

James was pulled with 3:06 left in the game down by 19. They needed buckets and stops. Wasn't able to do either that 4th. To blame it solely on James is asinine.

Kinda like the Spurs did in game 4 of 2013 with the chance to go up 3-1?

In fairness to Bran, at the time he said that he actually had a jumper. So it might have been true at the time :confusedshrug:
