I always compare myself with others more successful than me. But not in a envious and jealous way. But it motivates me to get on their level.

I love reading and listening to the stories of others and their success. It inspires me rather than makes me pissed off I am not there yet.

Yes, although I try not to. Everyones story is different and a simple event on a random day can change your entire life. Some people had a easier path than others and it's all about the journey(the skills you learn, people you meet, etc)

The wealth/status part doesn't really bother me too much. Like cool you're a office worker at so and so company big ****ing deal.
