Consensus Mock Draft:

What do people think?
Are the Knicks' fans happy with the consensus? I mean, I know they won't necessarily take Porzingis, but would you want them to?
WCS being at #8, which is the Pistons. Do you think he'll drop that far?
Obviously, I doubt the Magic pick Mudiay, so who? WCS? Winslow?
Who's going to have the biggest "rise" and "fall" of this draft?
Is 1, 2, and 3 a lock as KAT, Okafor, and Russell?

My 3 Knicks scenarios:
1. Draft Okafor
2. Draft Winslow
3. Trade with PHX for Bledsoe and 13th pick and draft Kaminsky or Lyles

PHX wouldn't do that

I think Porzingis would be a great fit with the Kings. A 7 foot skilled stretch 4 alongside Boogie Cousins sounds very interesting.

So you trade #4 for Bledsoe and #13?
Then what, PHX are left with... picking Mudiay?
Don't think they do it, tbh.

Why do you assume they need to draft a Guard?? Phoenix seems to be enamored with Knight, and even if they pick a guy like Mudiay, Mudiay would fit in as starting SG which Phoenix does not have.

Well who do you feel PHX would give up Bledsoe and #13 for? Porzingis?

Nobody in their right mind thinks Knight is better than Bledsoe. Brandon was so disappointing as a Phoenix Sun.

I think any one of these three guys would upgrade that team in the near future:
1. Mudiay
2. WCS
3. Porzingis
Phoenix, to me, is weak at the SG and C positions. Or they can stand pat and still have a shot at Kaminsky.

You don't think Kaminsky will "Tyler Hansbrough"?

Nah Kaminsky is the real deal. He can easily turn into a Pau Gasol.
no pun intended

I will get so frustrated if the Lakers do not draft Russell. I'm more confident in small-ball.

I don't even like option 2... I know the Knicks want to run the triangle, but shouldn't they get the best possible PG? They have Hardaway Jr at SG... Where would they play Winslow? Melo at SF, can't shift him over... Dude can't defend (PFs)...

Winslow would play the 2 if drafted by the Knicks. But there's no reason the Knicks should pick Winslow at 4. It's Russell or porzingis. Mudiay or WCS over Winslow as well.

Stan Johnson to the hornets makes absolutely zero sense.

I think Lakers should take Winslow. The future of this league is wing players. LeBron James and Kevin Durant. Kawhi Leonard and Jimmy Butler. Wing players who can play elite perimeter defense, while also being diverse offensive weapons.

Bron, Durant, ok
Leonard and Butler, :oldlol: :oldlol:
But your point is valid. Wing players win championships.

But it is really only because not a lot of extremely good big men come along as much as 6'7-6'10 scorers.
