Childress was such a weird case, he could've been a 6th man of the year type player for a decade but he just left the NBA for Europe and ruined his career for no reason. Must've really had a shit agent.

Meh... he had a nice 4 year stretch in Atlanta and then bailed on them for more money and a nike contract in Europe, according to his wikipedia. Can't say I blame him.

Idk exactly how much money he got but considering he only played over there for 2 years and came back to rot on NBA benches for a couple years before flaming out of the league entirely, it doesn't seem like it was the best call.
