Why dont feminists hate Islam?

I am certainly no expert on feminism or Islam, so maybe I just have the wrong impression about things, but it seems like modern feminists should be the strongest voices against modern Islam.

In many islamic societies, women are not allowed to be educated or go to school. They can be stoned to death or worse for having sex outside of marriage (even if they were raped). They can be beaten or imprisoned for showing too much ankle skin. They are not allowed to vote or get a drivers license.... i could keep going.

So why the **** arent western feminists saying anything about this shit? Modern feminists appear to be focused on inconsequential bullshit like unrealistic portrayals of females in video games.

Funny I've brought up this same subject many times on this forum and there's no answer. As #6 once said, modern day feminism is marxism. They would rather complain about insignificant things then actually go out and try to do something. I've seen MANY feminists bash Christianity but then go out of their way to make sure they don't offend followers of Islam (nothing wrong with that necessarily but I think all of us will agree that Christianity doesn't oppress women anymore, at least not on a wide basis). Modern day feminism is a JOKE and I've held this belief for a while now.

Because feminism has been infiltrated by communists. Their objective is the destruction of western society. That is their motivation for joining any organization that demonizes western society. Any group where they can say "look how bad women are treated in the west". "Look how the west treats black". "Look how evil capitalism is". "Americans are the real terrorist". "Christians are the worst".

If your objective is destroying western civilization, what purpose does criticizing islam have? None. That's why they don't do it.

there is plenty of "actual social activism" by feminists in the united states and none of it is focused on islam.

Well so it is well worth mentioning that the things that are called certain names in US have their own certain, distinct meanings. Very often they are not related to the actual meanings intended... Left, right, conservative, progressive, capitalism, socialism, communism, and now - social activism and feminism.

It's not socially acceptable, especially among liberals, to criticize a minority that is already oppressed.

Also, correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think most Muslims in the West agree with the laws in place in many Middle Eastern countries. There's a cultural element here. It's not just the religion.
