We'll say we did give them Deng, as well as Ben Gordon. They won 49 games with those two, but with Kobe in their place? How far do they go in the East? Finals appearances? Face Spurs in Finals? Get Swept?

2007:
PG: Hinrich
SG: Kobe
SF: Sefalosha
PF: Nocioni
C: Ben Wallace

How he always does against the Spurs. It'll come down to what he gets from whats surrounding him.

So we are all agreeable in that Kobe would've got the Bulls to the Finals out east in 2007 on this average at best talent Bulls team. Probably would've been good against Bowen and the Spurs. While also at the very least won a game against them in the series?

We would have finally had a LeBron-Kobe series

True. 2009 and 2010 as well.

They'd likely be worse.

Who knows. The difference between losing in 4 or losing in 6 isn't necessarily a lot. I would bet on them doing better then the 07 Cavs though.

Well historically Kobe has been a Spurs killer, I think he swept them in 07-08 in the WCF or beat them in 5 games IRC? Not sure if that Bulls team is good enough though...Kobe would have to average almost 35 I think. And depends on how much Hinrich could slow Parker down, he used to be a really good defender but Parker may have been too fast.

At least the finals, Kobe 07> Lebron 07 and that hypothetical Bulls lineup is better than what the Cavs fielded that year. Kobe historically has played better against the Spurs than Lebron has, so I'd still pick Spurs in 07 but not in a sweep.
