Prime Wade has elite ISO skills (still does), Elite back to the basket game for a guard, ball handling, explosiveness (never as much as Westbrook, but still very explosive when younger), could defend well, great midrange game, very crafty, huge amount of offensive tools...

Westbrook has 0 ballhandling wizardry and doesn't have the 1 on 1 skills that Wade has/had.

Prime Flash would beat current GOATbrook.

When GOATbrook reaches his prime, this is a topic worth revisiting. He is a lot stronger/explosive than Wade ever was. Kind of like a freight train (GOATbrook) versus a sportscar (Wade).

Edit: My post is stupid, Wade is stronger than GOATbrook and at least as explosive.

Obviously either could beat the other. Nothing would be shocking. I really like Westbrook's ability to grab boards and 50/50 balls in this situation, could be a difference maker.


Still, if I had to choose, I'd go with Wade because if his craftiness and control. He does everything with a purpose, rarely out of control.

^^ Wade was / is extremely strong, he is 20 pounds heavier than westbrook...

And I don't think anyone can argue Westbrook is more explosive than prime wade, heck he is probably the most explosive guard to have ever played the game. But prime Wade in his own right was sneakily athletic / explosive. Would be able to hold his own in this category....

If both in their prime, there's nothing Westbrook can do that Wade can't. Difference is Wade is a much much much smarter basketball player who rarely gets out of control like Westbrook so often is.

Wade is easily better. It's not even really that close. He just is a lot more accurate with what he does on the court. He had ridiculously good efficiency for a few years there. Also, one of the best sg defenders ever (very underrated).

His 2008-2009 seasons is one the best perimeter seasons ever for a guard that I've seen:

30.2 ppg, 7.5 apg, 5.0 rpg, 2.2 spg, 1.3 bpg shooting 49%

I've never seen anyone quicker at getting to the ring than Westbrook. Wade is my fav all time Heat player, so I've seen enough of him to judge that. Wade is right up there, but Westbrook is ridiculous.
