I think Russell is going to be very good and I would not be shocked one bit if he is great. He definitely has a Curry type game. Great handles, great creativity with the bball, effortless shot with quick release, great feel for the game, great vision, great passer. His only negative is he doesn't have rare athleticism. But he is 6'5" with a 6'10" wingspan and only 19. He averaged 19+ ppg as a freshman as "the man." His game is so smooth and under control. I will be shocked if he isn't a very good one. He has serious game. The type of game you can't really teach. When a guy plays that smooth and under control, that's next level stuff. Like I don't care how long you work at it, a guy like Curry has game in his DNA. Sure, he worked at it but it's obvious he has certain aspects of his game that he was just born with.

Russell plays nothing like Wade at all. His biggest weakness right now is his ability to get to the rim, which has always been Wade's strength.

I honestly don't see the Mudiay-Wall comparison. I watch highlights of Mudiay and his athleticism doesn't impress me. He doesn't have sudden explosion but is a guy who needs a step or two to get going. Wall is freakisly athletic. If Wall was a 9 in athleticism, Mudiay would be like a 7. He is several levels below Wall in that department.

this

its his size and strength that separates him as a point guard, not his explosiveness
