The talk around the league must be that George Karl is a snake that's selective about the players he likes (see Andre Miller).

George Carl probably loses his cool to quickly these days because he lost all his patience coaching Gary Payton. I still wonder what would have happened if george exploited MJ Vs Payton from the very beginning.

If you give Coach Carl a healthy Ramon Rondo, Christian Thompson and Miguel Pietrus to build around he might be able to make some noise in the west.

They still woulda lost. MJ missed shots he usually made, but it wasn't because of Payton. But, being an MJ hater, you wouldn't recognize that.

Ive heard Karl has a reputation as a bit of an egomaniac and two-faced phony around the league. Dont know if its true, but he does seem willing to take shots at former players in the media (while hes still in a coachin role, not as an analyst) for no real reason, which is kind of unbecoming of a coach.

Everyone has an option on DMC and I would bet most haven't watched more than a couple of highlights.

It sounds like Vlade had no interest in trading Boogie so Karl went to get other players to go to Vlade to plead with him to trade Boogie.
Karl and a LOT of players have had significant bad blood. And a lot of them have REALLY good reps (see RAY ALLEN, who he traded from Milwaukee).

Looking at the time frame JR Smith's tweet was about the CBA negotiations most likely...
Melo was long gone and that's when Smith was getting ready to play in China
or from what we know about Smith being a headcase it was about Karl just a year too late...lol

Lets be honest. As a coach why wouldnt you try to trade any those low impact players? Ty Lawson undersized, JR/Melo LOL, Dmc is pretty good, and Iggy openly threw the Nuggets Qarriors series because he was in collusion with the Warriors secretly (check it out there are many reports of this)
So stop blaming Karl. Its not like he is openly trying to trade a GOAT impact player

I mean GP was one of the all-time best, most aggressive, annoying on ball perimeter defenders ever. But agreed. MJ was missing a lot of shots he normally hit. He attributed fatigue to some extra muscle weight he gained in his upper body, which is why he lost like 10 pounds for the next season. He still gave GP and the Sonics 45 points in their very next meeting the following season.

Nice of you to stick up for Melo, knew you had that in you as Karl has taken plenty of shots at Melo for the past 4-5 years. Way to go man :cheers:

Cousins is a straight out asshole though. Few years back he led which was described as a mutiny to get the coach fired in the beginning of the season. He's always whining, trying to act tough, never assumes responsibility and seems like a very bad character. He's talented but a cancer.

He didn't do anything last year. He was doing just fine, then they took his coach away, he didn't rebel or anything, then they brought in Karl who is trying to get rid of him (like he wanted to do with Ray Allen, Gary Payton, Melo, any star he had before him).
He was a problem before, he's not a problem now, but let's trade him for nothing becuase the new coach has been a dick toward him. I don't get that. How does that help Sacramento?
