View Full Version : Must be easy playing in the NBA for these guys...

I'm sure any of the following would love to have had their primes in today's NBA:

Malone/Stockton
Barkley/KJ
Price/Daugherty
Johnson/Mourning
Ewing/Starks

and the list goes on and on....

Why? Because they didn't go up against the GOAT Jordan and actually would have had a chance to win it all, unlike what present day NBA offers which is a guy who is nothing more than 2/6 and shoots a measly 33% in the finals.

"Go up against Lebron James you say? Meh, he's only 2/6 and I have a much better chance beating him than ANY team MJ is on" - said the players above who used to listen to this everyday they woke up for work:

How did those guys do in '94 and '95?

MJ is the GOAT and all, but stop being so ****ing insecure, kid.

Believe it or not, MJ actually didn't make the finals every year he was in the league.

Mourning would be ass in today's NBA

I suppose we can say that the Jordan Rule was deemed for its creation, just as much as it being broken.

All we got from your post is that Jordan has never failed in the finals so all these past deprived players would rather play against a proven failure that is 2/6 rather than against Jordan if given the option.

Kids these days that can't discern between failure and perfection are the same kids dropping out of school to work at McDonald's because they were told they get free food.

Really Jordan made it to every Finals every year of his career? So he wasn't getting bounced in the 1st round before Pippen saved him? Jordan fans are a joke.

Why ?

He fits with defensive minded, rebounding role of C's. That's the important role of bigs today. Unless you mean he would suck because teams don't go through C's to score points as much and play more small ball.

This. If you're scared of going up against MJ(or any other player), you don't deserve to win a ring.

If you knew anything you would know basketball is a team sport. Jordan is 6/6 when he had a team good enough to get to the finals. Fans of weak eras that have role players winning the FMVP are the joke.

lol..the sidestep is so obvious here

MJ's teams were all good enough to WIN the Finals, not just make. there's a very stark difference here in what you're trying to imply in comparison to what Lebron has in just "making" the Finals. his 2007 and 2015 squad had no chance in winning the Finals.

Bron had a team good enough to get him to the finals 6 times and all he has to show for it is 2 rings. He's 2/6, simple as that. No excuses. He just simply doesn't have the will to win like Jordan did. The only time Jordan didn't win is when his team wasn't good enough to make it to the finals.

Bron will never win without wade, and that is where his story comes to a close.

Again, you refuse to grasp the fact that if you have a team good enough to get to the finals, you are a championship contender. It really is that simple. One man ensured that when he was a championship contender, that he willed his team to perfect 6/6 victory with 6 fmvp while the other man lost his fvmp to role players like kwahi and iggy.

One man stayed with his team for his 6 victories, the other went to chase rings.

GOAT gonna GOAT

The history of betting odds says differently.

That's like saying in a championship fight of you against Mike Tyson, you are a championship contender.
