They hired a guy who doesn't like Cousins and now they are refusing to trade Cousins?

Why? He's clearly gonna leave once his contract is up. Just trade him now, you've already ****ed up too much.

I don't think George Karl dislike Cousins before he was hired.

They refused to trade because they can just fire George Karl and get a new coach.

There was friction for sure when Karl got hired. And they probably wont want to fire Karl after giving him a fat 4 year contract.

Because they fired a coach that he liked initially.

It's completely stupid to think team a team would hire a coach that hates a player on your team. You're retarded.

Lol sounds like a great plan. Just fire Karl before his first real year, and get yet another coach. That will convince Cousins to stay.

At this point why not just trade Cousins for #2 and get Okafor or Russell and start over?

Both Okafor and Russell look like future all stars, and you'd get a chance to start fresh with a new star who isn't a guarantee to leave as soon as the chance presents itself like Cousins probably is.

Why won't it? It shows the team's commitment towards him. Teams choose their star player all the time over the coach. If he likes the new coach then why won't he be staying?

Karl has friction with all players. Cousins has friction with all coaches. They will work it out. If the Kings got the right set of good players back they would do it, but they can't.

Cousins wasn't really happy with the hiring in the first place. That was a fact.

DeMarcus Cousins' agent telling me they are not "blocking" Kings/Karl deal. Says if Kings want Karl then "make the move. We don't run team."

Cousins' agent says a lot of crap that isn't necessarily what Cousins wants and feels.
