Any meat will have parasites. Pigs are quite hygienic. The mudbathing actually helps getting rid of parasites and if they're held properly they have an own place to shit, like cats do. Of course their meat isn't clean per se, but testing in my country is pretty good.

Are cattle, lamb, chicken eaten because of their clean lifestyles? The real reason you're barred by religious code from eating pork is because of how dangerous ingesting not thoroughly cooked/poorly stored meat was back then. I eat raw meat. Lots of it. The pigs I eat are fed fresh and dried grass soaked in raw milk. Parasites eat dead tissue and usually only harm unhealthy bodies. Plus if the animals are treated properly you shouldn't have to worry. If you do so happen get a bad parasite hurting you there are natural herbal remedies to rid your self quite easily. I actually knew a man who would eat raw pig intestines trying to contract trichinosis but couldn't.
