Please let this happen.

1. KAT
2. Okafor/Russell
3. Okafor/Russel
4. Mudiay
5. Porzingis

My ideal top 5.

It's who I'm wishing for. Good defending point guard for NY.

Do you believe this based upon his terrible jumper, his only slightly above average athleticism (by NBA standards), or his mediocre passing?

I can live with that. Just don't trade down.

Russell or porzingis at 4

Mudiay or WCS in a trade down (maybe Mario).

If the Knicks sign Porzingis, the fans will burn down MSG. And I'll light the match -

Porzingis is the swing for the fences. He has the kind of size, skill and athleticism to be basically a one of a kind type player. The pitfalls with taking an unknown commodity from overseas are well documented, but if I were in the 3-6 range, I would be hesitant to write this kid off as all hype, no substance. He will need time to get stronger, but the ceiling is crazy. I wouldn't be completely shocked if he ended up being the best player in this draft. I also wouldn't be shocked if he busts.

I get wanting to go safe with Mudiay ... but 10 years from now you might look back on this thread and kick yourself.

Highly doubt Knicks go this route again. The last tall skinny Euro they drafted, Frederic Weis, never even signed or played in the NBA.

Your team is a mess you need to rebuild the right way instead of over paying players no one else wants. Take the best player available and plan for the future.

I agree 100%.... but there are 3 potentially good PG's available. I don't want another Bargnani. I get Frederic Weiss flashbacks just considering this.
