We are rebuilding there buddy. And in a rebuild, you collect young and talented assets and give them playing time and see which ones are good. The bad ones, we can discard without taking a significant cap hit.

I know some of you Laker fans want to win right away but some of us Laker fans want to rebuild the right way and have some patience. Not mortgage our future (again) to win now.

You talk about clarkson like he is some transcending player at the point. I'm not entirely sold on him. He put up decent numbers but that was on a team with one of the worst records and a green light. Russell has the potential to be a game changer at the point.

Also, the off season is not over. There is a good chance they can land a big like Aldridge, love or Monroe.

i guess they will try them out and decide who to dump later on.

But why? We are in rebuild mode and aren't trying to win now. A guy like Noel is an absolute beast on D when motivated. Why not try to get a guy like him and let him develop with our other youngsters and see what happens? Philly has no many bigs. It can't hurt to try. Now tnat we have Russ, Clarkson is more expendable even though I love the guy.
