This time last year, it was:

1. Okafor
2. Turner
3. Alexander

How does a guy go from #3 to being completely undrafted in the space of a year? It shows you how indecisive and fickle talent scouts and front offices are? If you like someone, you go with your assessment; that's your job. These guys have no conviction. It's like when Sullinger was being touted the #1 overall pick. How does that change so dramatically?

#3 ESPN
#4 Rival
#6 Scout
#4 247

Where did those Cliff Alexander / Kansas trolls go? There yelling about how Alexander was going to dominate college. Completely outplay Okafor and Turner. looool

I'm shocked too, I wanted the Lakers to take him at 34 because of his upside. I guess he was that bad at Kansas? I think he still impresses during summer league and ends up on a team.

Didn't he have a bunch of off court issues?

Ohhhh shit, apparently he sprained his MCL during a workout. That's gotta hurt, so shitty. Two players who had similar situations to him that come to mind right away are Isaiah Austin and DeSean Butler. Austin not the same injury, but still his condition became apparent a few days before the draft I think.

I remembee Butler. Great in college. He still got drafted but I wonder how he would have been if he didn't get hurt

He was waived during training camp, so might as well not even been drafted. Definitely a sad story, I thought he really could of been a big player in the NBA. Loved him in 2k :lol

Bobby Huggins consoling Butler after his injury is one of the most heartbreaking things I've seen in a basketball game.

imo, he was a Wilson Chandler level player tho.
