The NBA has decided to move forward with plans to no longer factor in division winners for playoff seeding.

Beginning in the 15-16 season, teams in each conference will be seeded one through eight based purely on record.

Good. The Spurs and Clippers got f*cked by these division rules in the playoffs.

Spurs should've faced Houston/Memphis in the 1st round and the Clippers should've been the 2nd seed, faced Dallas in the 1st round and had HCA for the 2nd round.

There's no way that the 2nd and 3rd most dominant teams in the league should face eachother in the 1st round. That's just crazy.

The East have some of the worsts GM's and President of Basketball Operations ( Jordan and Jackson). If both of these guys are gone for good. We might see some competitiveness in the East.

You guys need to remember than Melo, Deron, and Boozer led their team in the western conference finals a couple of years ago.

Northwest division is just as bad as Atlantic division. Portland got 4th this past playoffs for no other reason than OKC injuries and the rest of the division being weak.
