I know when Adam Silver took over I just thought it was going to be a continuation of the reign of Stern but he has seemingly attempted to distinguish himself with things such as:
Quoting Jay-Z in an interview, event though it seems like a contrived way to connect with the "urban" fan base of the NBA, pushing to change the playoff format was NEEDED, seemingly saying the right thing that the PLAYERS and FANS want rather than what the owners want. Attempting to be liked and do the right thing rather than embracing the hate like Stern.
So is this all a ploy, will he become jaded after a couple years on the job and stop caring or do you guys think he a legit, decent commish? Opinions?
