The US is being too idealistic in the middle east and should concentrate on promoting its interests and support nations willing to work with us. In the long term american interests benefit the largest amount of people in most cases.

Yes, it's done on purpose. US knows that conflicts around the world ensures that there will be a demand for weapons, equipment and other services. This is how the military industry complex makes billions..

It's a constant cycle. Always need to build up that boogeyman, create fake conflicts(ie Russia, Iran, China), arming questionable rebel factions(Syrian rebels..) all for economic gain.

Then the media will spin it out that we're fighting for freedom and that Assad, Russians, Iranians, etc, are the bad ones. It's all BS. But hey **** those rednecks for waving some stupid flag :rolleyes:
