1. D'Angelo Russell
2. Jahili Okafor
3. Nerlens Noel
4. Jordan Clarkson
5. Joel Embiid (out)
6. Julius Randle (out)
Talent level is about even at the moment with the two injuries, but with a healthy Embiid and Randle the advantage would still be in the favor of the Sixers.
Right now I'd give it to the Sixers.

Why even put Embiid in there if he most likely will never stay healthy long enough?
Lakers, unless Okafor turns out to be a superstar.

if we consider FA destination, lakers of course have a brighter future
but rookies/soph alone sixers

Sixers. All 3 of their guys are/were #1 pick worthy. Noel would have been #1 if not for injury; still should have been. Embiid would have been #1 if not for back. And Okafor should have been #1 if not for Wolves stupidity.

If all 3 pan out, I'm taking the Sixers. 3 headed Center monster.

People make fun of the Sixers and their strategy, but the vast majority of rebuilding teams would love to trade positions with them. They have 3 7 footers with elite potential, Saric in Europe, an assload of cap space and 3 first rounders next year. Plus a few interesting young guys like Covington,Grant and Wroten.

Lakers. Even if all 3 Sixers players were healthy they wouldn't be able to develop

Nikola Mirotic didn't come until 3 years after he was drafted.
What's your point? Sixers still have his rights and can trade him for value.
Meanwhile, Los Angeles has only three players on their team that have value to other teams. I really don't know where you come off trying to criticize franchises that are rebuilding when you're in a worse position. The only team in a worse position for rebuilding than the Lakers are the Knicks.

i'm not even baiting. it is arguable. Noel > Clarkson and Randle and he has the least potential out of the 3 6ers.

The question is the better core it's also a stupid question since 4 guys 2 from each have never played a NBA game and two from each team that made all NBA rookie team. Noel might be better that's up for debate he's a good player but it's not near as clear cut as you make it seem Clarkson is good too.
Back to the core a PG a SG and a PF is a better core than a pf and 2 centers no matter how good Noel is

Embiid is a better prospect than anyone on LA. Will he play? Who knows.
Okafor is arguable, but he was consensus #1 for a LONG time.
Noel >> Clarkson impact wise and stats wise.
Core really doesn't matter. They are all prospects, if the Sixers need to trade them they will. Basically we're rating their trade value.

Saric might come in 2017 so good luck with thatUnless a team abroad offers him massive money, his biggest guaranteed payday will be to jump to the NBA in 2017 when the cap will $100M. He could legit target $9M/year on his first NBA deal. He's making close to #1 pick money in Turkey, so no reason to play NBA ball now at a massive discount (not that he could contractually). Hinkie's said he's coming next summer but who knows- money talks.
76ers have the greater stockpile of players, even if they are nearly all bigs (I think Covington has to be considered too, here). Lakers arguably have a better fitting core but I think collectively the trade value of Noel/Jahlil/Covington/Saric/Embiid > Russell/Clarkson/Randle/Nance/Brown. So maybe that's the way to decide?
Glamor market aside, I think I'd take the 76ers' core. Lakers' core is no joke though.

Hmm. Fair enough. 6ers don't have a guard prospect but I'd still take their trade value.

Correction it is four first round picks (Sixers, Laker - top 3 protected, Heat - top 10 protected, OKC - top 15 protected). Heck, Hinkie might get some more first round picks this year just by absorbing another team bad contract.
