Still great, healthy, balanced teams.

The threepeat Lakers would smash any of these teams that came after them

Lol at this revionist history.

Bynum was constantly injured. Those teams had no back court depth or 3pt shooting

2004 should have been a winner =/.. then payton and malone went to the heat to win it with shaq and wade if i remember correctly... there was just no consistent chemistry the whole year between the four hall of famers and it's like the locker room had to choose between Bryant or Shaq.

Healthy Malone and they win 65 or so games

Even with a healthy Malone in the finals Kobe still would have bricked them out of it.

2000-2002 should be ranked 1-3. OP has no credibility, agenda is obvious.

Malone was actually on Kobe's side.. Kobe would have deferred to Malone because of the mutual respect.. only problem Kobe had with Shaq is because he would constantly come to training camp out of shape and would dominate the finals just with his size...

work ethic there's no question it goes to Kobe... Bryant and Malone are some of the hardest working hall of famers of all time... I believe Karl Malone even said something about Shaq's lack of physical conditioning at some point in that season.

The 2000 team was very strong.

67 wins, peak Shaq who was the MDE, #1 ranked defense with the #1 ranked interior defense in the league.

They're #2 only to the 01 team.

Phil Jackson on the 2000 Lakers

we were far from being the most talented team in the league. Indiana, Portland, Phoenix, Sacramento, and New York were all ball clubs whose top eight or nine players had more talent than we had in our regular rotation.

Truth.. That portland team with Pippen was excruciatingly close to winning a championship.
