only amateur goes all out at the beginning.
Real Pro finished warm up after all stars break and preparing for final.

It was kinda crazy. Even when DeRozan went down with an injury, I knew their style play couldn't hold up unless they improved defensively dramatically, but as expected that turned out to be even worse this season. I also thought they were going to be a worse 3 point shooting team.

I actually look to see what Masai does now to switch it around. I don't think he can start fromscratch again, despite the trade speculation surrounding the team.

That's what playing in the East does for you.

They had a terrible record before he got diagnosed with the condition.

Stay mad though.

Funny, after I said they needed leadership, it all fell apart for them. Injuries did happen but it shouldn't have fell off like that.

So did the Cavs.

:confusedshrug:

Who's to say the Heat don't go on a similar run to that of the Cavs in the second part of the season after acquiring Dragic with a healthy Bosh?

Injuries wrecked them and they never recovered. Lowry returned a game or two before the playoffs started and he wasn't the same. Throw in some players that always choke in the playoffs like Ross, Derozan, and GV. They were doomed.

Yes, but just marginally: A win or 2 in the first round.

Remember when Lebron was 2-5 in the finals. :(

2-6 feels sort of uncomfortable to me.

But I think 2-7 and 2-8 will feel much better. :applause: :applause:

Let's go Lebron!!!

Why is DeRozan and GV associated with Ross in choking ?

DeRozan and GV have had big games and made big shots in their brief playoff experience, where as Ross as completely shat the bed. And after last playoffs, even Lowry isn't in the best graces of the team. Fact is, he could have conditioned himself better post all-star game.

Infact, 11 games the last 2 playoff runs, the best playoff performer has been DeRozan, not that the last run is anything talk about.

It's not just leadership. They need better defense, better top tier talent, and more versatile two way players at SF and PF too.

No, I honestly don't recall a time in the last 10 years in which the Raptors were the "top team in the league"

Better question, have the Raptors ever been the top team in the NBA? Even for like a week? A day?
